I'm out of the loop. I have no idea what DEERFORCE is, but that looks like Samus' ship.
Awesomely Shitty

-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

My mom's friend found a box of Reader's Digest records that had never been played before and were going to throw them away so she sent them to me instead:
Looks like it was released in 1960, comes with an ad where you can buy more boxsets:
A 40 page booklet detailing all the composers and songs, a certificate of some kind and a bunch of other mail order stuff:
The vinyl themselves are in mint condition, here's the foxtrot disc:
It's too bad most of this stuff sounds like I'm watching Lawrence Welk show.

SPOILER: Show
The joys of convention tables, eh?
To be exact, one of the tables was a dealer of various swords- mostly replicas of swords from movies, but they also sold some hand-forged swords made in Japan (one of the ones I got).
Of course I can't actually do anything with it because I'd be arrested. But that's not the point- it's an actual Japanese-made katana, and a beauty at that.

Here lies Squigsquasher.
2013-2017.
2013-2017.
The only thing I bought at FHC's skyfair today (although there was a lot more I wanted, including a A6M3 T-shirt, A6M3 art to hang on the wall, and a professionally built and painted model of the Maus. Sooo glad I resisted since that would have totally wiped out whats left of my savings)
On the front cover is FHC's very own A6M3 and after thumbing through it, it has a huge write up (all in Japanese of course) on FHC's collection of Japanese aircraft and others in the collection, them seeing The Wind Rises in Seattle, and then onto the Texas Flying Legends Museum to see their Zero and a write up on that and some other aircraft there as well. Pretty awesome.

Gotta be careful at conventions, some of those "deals" aren't so hot.

I hate myself. But maybe I can learn to love myself. Maybe it's okay for me to be here! That's right! I'm me, nothing more, nothing less! I'm me. I want to be me! I want to be here! And it's okay for me to be here! -- Shinji Ikari, Neon Genesis Evangelion
Yes, I know. You thought it would be something about Asuka. You're such idiots.
