Me Gusta

I can't wait to be ripping open orks as a Black Templar, that is if it's at all possible in singleplayer. I may have to settle for slaughtering the Chaos in multiplayer as a Black Templar :)

In the mean time I will have to settle for Crysis 2 and STALKER: CoP

Been playing through Fallout 3 again, planning to do a new New Vegas play through when I finish since the new DLC recently came out. I'm actually enjoying the game more this time, firstly because I have mods for it and secondly because I decided to give up on the 'They-changed-it-now-it-sucks Doctrine' I had the first time playing it.

Best BF game to date. Jet-whoring, Chopper-whoring, Six-engineers-repairing-one-tank-whoring, perfectly timed Arty strike that cheeses you at the last minute, DAT G36E, DAT PKM, DAT AK-47, DAT Every-single-gun-the-EU-had-to-make-up-for-their-vehicles-being-complete-shit, DAT MiG-29, DAT Su-30, DAT Horrible, Horrible F-35, every map but Operation Clean Sweep was awesome...well Kubra Dam got lame at times, infantry only 64 player serves on sixteen player vehicle maps, sprinting half way across the map to steal a rez on some guy who is going to die three seconds later anyway, getting team killed because someone wants the vehicle you're using, hacking allegations, generally asshatery, knife fights, airstrip camping with two Linebackers, and all the other crazy cheese and shenanigans that went on in that game. Every BF since it has been a poor imitation. 2142 was pretty good, but it needed 3 more classes and to feel less like a BF2 expansion-pack to be really great.

I cried when I learned BF3 wasn't going to have 7 classes or a commander.

That is why I play BF2142. Except, obviously, nobody listens to the commander. The commander is overated, being the only guy who can give you supply drops, EMP/Artillery strikes, and UAVs, right? You shouldn't listen to him. Darp.

Finished the Alan Wake DLC. Why the hell are the episodes so much more difficult than the actual game? Holy crap, they were filled of moments that caused pure frustration.

The commander´s supposed to be the butler and follow people around like a dog, the name is misleading as fuck.

The commander should be more concerned with properly providing support than actually commanding. Despite the name the commander shouldn't try to command. I guess they should rename it to something like Overwatch or Logistics Officer. Because that's what it is. Know where to place UAVs, know who does and doesn't need supplies, know when to use Arty, and most importantly let your team know where the enemies are.

^

This.

He's more of a support officer.

I'm glad there aren't any more retarded class combo's that are going to be in BF3, I remember my irks with the redneck medic toting a fucking light machine gun, it was just fucking retarded. I mean really, WHY!?

Glad about the advantages PC users get over console users. I treated BF:BC2 as fun, but it's time for a return to the main series.

I finally got New Vegas. Enjoying it. Probably because I waited half a year for the bugs to get ironed out. Me and my new heterolifemate Boone are going to commit some good-ole Legion genocide.

I actually recently started playing through it again and I've managed to encounter at least three critical bugs in the starting town.

I've had no bugs so far. No crashes, no npc errors. I'm running with the Old World Blues DLC.

I'm running all the DLC, I haven't encountered any crash worthy errors but tons of clipping errors, and random model and hitbox glitches. It's always fun to watch a Giant Radscorpion charge at you while doing front-flips. Oh and quest critical NPCs falling through the ground is also awesome.

I've hit a new low. I've been reduced to a gibbering man-child by a free flash game. It's all good fun until you reach the train level. My god in heaven, it is absolute cruelty. And no, you can't go back and play the fun levels again. You're stuck in THE GRIND.

Nice game, though the train stage was pretty easy, just tedious. After you max armor and your front guns (bombs and rear guns seem useless), just zoom up to the front flying high so you don't get hit, strafe the engine and blow it up, train stops, kill that one annoying plane, then strafe each train car until they blow up and that's it. The small peon planes keep respawning but they do no damage to you, blow them up when your running low on health to pick-up an "R". Finished it on my second try.

Edit: Well, I've dropped having bombs altogether. Didn't know I could do that, now there's nothing that can stop me except crashing into the ground.

Edit2: lol, Flash started to freeze up so I had to commit suicide or risk losing all the kills:
