by the way, Magia is seriously awesome. For some reason they released two versions of single, one with Magia, B-side snow falling and Magia instrumental. The other version has Magia, Magia - magia mix (yo dawg I herd u liek magia so we put etc.), Magia TV Size and Magia instrumental
despite the retarded name the magia mix version of Magia is pretty awesome too

Seems it's from Martin Luther King Jr.....
Just found out that PMMM manga vol.1 is now #1 in Amazon JP manga sales ranking, PMMM vol.2 is #2. Many bookstores sold out all PMMM manga in one day. The bigger manga bookstores in Akihabara could barely save any stock after the weekend...

This is the standard way of releasing anime singles these days. One is usually called "anime-ban" and it usually has the anime images on the cover; and the other is the "artist-ban" which has the singer on the cover. In Magia's case, the one with Magia TV size is the "anime-ban" which has Madoka and Homura on cover; the one with a B-side song Snow Falling is the "artist ban" and has Kalafina on cover.

This is the same with Connect -- Connect anime-ban has Connect TV-Size, Dreamin' and Kimi to futari; while Connect artist-ban has Connect instrumental, Dreamin' and Kimi to futari. And other singles like "irony" etc are same -- two versions were released (and if you count those that come with DVD as well, there are more than two versions)

It still puzzles me that Ai Nonaka voices Kyouko. I instantly associate that voice with Kafuka.

Homura is Modoka's lover from the FUTURE who sent herself back in time to prevent Modoka's death and the apocalypse.
btw has there been any decent speculah about why the crazy lancer chick keeps eating? Normally I wouldn't expect loldeep analysis here, but given this show and given that every single scene she's in features her gluttonous face, sometimes even with some fangnificent emphasis, I'm sure there'll be more to that angle.

no, wait, Kyouko is a female, but I want to point out the other way that this is a trap. This character seems to fit the bill for a 'viewer avatar,' correct me if I'm wrong. She is detached from the 'in universe' cultural norms, somewhat aware of the "correct" meta-understanding from our viewpoint, exhibits congruence with 'otaku' culture, and by that blog quote, is appealing to some fans right away for -um- structural reasons, as well as catering to a certain plot aesthetic. But she is a negative comment. Among self-centered peers, she is following a fairly pure road. Her consumption (consumerism) is an exaggerated adjunct to her real greed, and thus incomplete nature. Except, if she were eating eggs. That image was used a little earlier, and immediately set my teeth on edge. I took the traditional 'symbol of soul' interpretation as a reason to consider that a very dark element to include in this anime.
But such is not for Kyouko, as I expect she will be rather 'weak' in the pinch, amoral, evil or reformed as she may be. It's a plot that moves on message and symbolism. There is not a concrete position for an effective legbreaker, other than what she just did. She might not die right away, but she won't receive usage outside of her obligation to cause at least some angst for Madoka as she dies. Maybe she gets crushed right as Walpurgis Night begins, to help build the enemy's credentials. And I think the fang is just her lack of polite culture/basic human altruism level, as well as kawaii design decisions. Your thoughts?
