I'm just wondering if there be anybody here that watched, watches, will watch Initial D? The 4th stage was out couple of years ago and still, there is no sign of 5th stage.

Just so you know, Initial D is a show that features cars and the famous Japanese touge racing - mountain racing. This show also boosted the Toyota Corolla AE86's resale value - GODDAMIT!

Anyways, just want to know if anybody is interested in seeing this great show. Oh, I almost forgot, I think I saw Ornette wrote something about Initial D at animenation.net

Have you also watched Initial D real-life movie too?

My experience with Initial D is mainly the manga though...
I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.

Sadly I haven't.

The manga is slow in releasing new chapters. From the way they do things, it seems that a chapter really takes long because of the depth of detail they give in every frame.

Try watching the series, it's really fun watching the actual things move.

There's no 5th stage, but most recently there was another Extra Stage that was about Itekani and Mako. It was ok, and kind of nice because that story arc was left completely up in the air in the main story. The live action movie is not bad. The acting is kind of cheesy but the look and feel is pretty close to spot on.

Initial D is one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasures. I mean, it's dumb competition shounen, and the first season is one of the ugliest things ever shat out by Japan, and I still found it to be immensely addictive. I haven't been following the manga, though, because of the americanized names and whatnot.

Is there a possibility that they would make one Ornette?

I have been watching the release of the chapters and it seems that they have already made new material.

How long was the interval between the stages?
