Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

Argh, why the fuck am I only listening to this now?

Solid 90s alternative-worship with a healthy splattering of punk/emo.

This very well could knock Sunbather from my favourite album released this year to date...

I think I've found my new song for the next few days. This is quite good.

not since i got here 11 days ago has a single post by anyone made me feel as good as i do right now :), and i'm being completely serious - i am very honored that you like this, and i would suggest you check out the rest of that album, and perhaps the second one as well (but not the third one, because it's crap)

"I Don't Like" is lyrically inept and morally reprehensible, and its creator, Chief Keef, is a detestable human being who will end up serving a life sentence if he doesn't turn his life around soon.

So why is it... so... addictive? Why do I love it? Whyyyyyyyyyyyy? I mean, okay, being morally reprehensible and having bad people as creators has never stopped me from liking art before so long as it's good art that is morally reprehensible and created by bad people, but I'm not sure I could even call this song "good."

It's just one of those songs where it's like... I know if it came on at a party or something I'd start throwing my elbows around and knocking motherfuckers over out of excitement.

Nicki Minaj has actually done some good guest verses on other peoples' songs. Her solo music is pretty consistently awful though.

I know I'm a month late to the party, but I just started my first listen of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. I'll post some thoughts on it once I'm done listening. Really digging the first track.

David Lynch is directing the video for NIN's track Came Back Haunted. You guys have no idea how much of a mindgasm this is giving me.

UPS finally delivered my Black Sabbath LP.

It's a double LP on 180g vinyl. I thought at first that it was 45 rpm but after cuing the first record on 33 just to be safe, I found out that is was not. After a listen a little bit ago I have to say that "13" is overall, a solid album. Age of reason and Live forever are my favorites.

I've been listening to quite a lot of Zedd recently, it started with Clarity and then I started listening to Spectrum as well, as well as his acoustic/piano covers of both songs.

That Deafheaven album is pretty good. Willingly listening to metal is kind of new to me.

In completely unrelated news news I just feel like mentioning something I've realized. There are two types of people in the world: People who love "Umbrella;" and people who are wrong.

Indeed - Sunbather is sheer liquid wonderment.
If you're doing it right, it should induce goosebumps and feelings of euphoria during the track climaxes and make you feel warm and fuzzy during those intense shoe-gazing tremolo riffs.

That's the kind of kick I get out of that type of music anyway...

Caught that new NIИ joint on the drive in to work this morning too, and had it stuck in my head all shift.
Promptly jumped on the computer as soon as I got home and ripped it from YT, haha.

Will be looking forward to the full album for sure.

Got to see Robert Plant in concert on Friday. The moment where he first stepped onto the stage was awesome. My thought process was basically "holy shit......it's him..."

He sounded pretty awesome too considering he's in his seventies.
