Aside from some minor problems, and the semi-gratuitous ecchi bits, I like Re-Take as a sequel to End of Eva.

I don't know, reading about this, a little whisper in the back of my mind is saying that they might be sticking more true to the original story this time, than they did in the series. Mysteries, yes, but most of them answered by the end, I guess...
