Alright, I'll admit that 00 Qan[T] (official spelling BTW) was disappointing, but just one aspect doesn't bring an entire movie of this magnitude down that much. I mean hell, they actually made Graham likeable! i know its official spelling but it makes it look as if it's pronoun...

partly because the super-hyped 00 Quanta spent 2 minutes firing lasers/sword bits and the rest of its screentime was stripping naked and "communicating" with the aliens.

i've been watching Nichijou, but as far as episode 4, i can't get into it. it's probably due to my dependency on subtitles that i don't get many of the jokes, i guess it's just not for me.

finished Bakemonogatari, it was good but it left me a weird taste, but now i'm highly anticipating Kizumonogatari. i thought everything in that first "trailer" in the first episode was going to be in the series, which is why i expected a lot more. steins;gate made me look forward to ne...

i've always liked the Wing Zero Custom and Deathscythe Hell Custom as well as the 00 Quanta and Ex-S. Voltes V was my childhood, and the movie designs of Transformers are cool too.

rewatched The Place Promised in Our Early Days after not getting it the first time. maybe i'm stupid but i didn't like it that much. it was painfully slow and the first part was really boring. Trigun was one of the series on my watch list, but i guess i'm moving it back/taking it off if ...

although i liked the movie, i wouldnt watch it again in theaters. first 30 minutes were slow and boring, many action scenes were too long and the main decepticons didn't get enough screentime. a lot of the humor came from cussing and the kind of things that middle schoolers would laugh at, but i...

i just got back from the midnight showing, and i liked it. it was too long, but the drag wasn't nearly as bad as ROTF. if i can read rottentomatoes right, critics is 37% and audience is 90%? that's a large gap, unless the 37% is representative of both critics and audience ratings.

watched AnoHana today, i liked it alright, but i can somewhat agree with the ending being (kinda) crappy. i know that animes reuse scenes often, but either the "who'd like that ugly girl" scene was overused or it just seemed that way because i marathoned it. probably the latter...

i'd like to think that it's some sort of star trek style reboot, which would make sense for new viewers. i hadn't watched a single episode of star trek before the 2009 movie, and i loved that movie. there may be a lot of things to discredit this, but i'm too lazy to go through old di...

... I don't care how people somehow enjoy this, but I'm not seeing it. Nope. After being sorely disappointed by the second one, I just can't face more of the bad dialogue and jokes, too many useless characters, etc. I AM DONE, DONE, DONE! you say "how people somehow enjoy this"...

i'll like it as long as it's better than the second. and battle la, which looked so convincingly awesome in the trailer then turned out to be rather boring. even the actiony bits were dull and too long.

i don't think ANY of the 1/100s are models, it's a modular system where you buy the core/normal age-1, then buy the limbs for the other ones at ¥1200 for a set of arms and ¥1300 for a set of legs, while the usually spectacular hg kits go around ¥1500 each.

even the figures released are being geared towards the younger audience, the 1/100s all have some gimmick that ties with a haro, the digivice phone looking thing, and an arcade machine, while the 1/144s are meant to be assembled without tools. the only traditional-build models are the 1/144 HG and 1...

marathoned this starting at 9pm, it's 3:30am now, worth it? yes. episode 3 caught me way off guard (although her prior dialogue with madoka and getting cake when they return was quite blatant foreshadowing, the actual scene shocked me enough). it also has one of the better intros i'v...

Overall, I did pretty well in the class except for series and sequences, either because I didn't get it or spent most of the period studying for other classes when we learned about it. I've always thought of math as my best subject; math and music are pretty much the only solid "topics&...

I was really excited for the second one even though I heard that the general consensus was that it sucked, but even I felt really bored during the looking-for-the-tomb-or-whatever scenes in the desert. Plot holes like where the twins went after they warped and going from a museum to a huge 'grav...
