i really enjoyed the story all up until the land turned into the infinite plane of facial features and then was lost with the closing demon-rape scene. i assumed it was done to raise interest in the manga, hence its wtf-ending and lack of a follow-up.

still a solid watch though.

i'm casually obssessed, however EVA is something personal to me and it has and shall remain my favorite anime of all time. i don't own a vast amount of merch based on it, outside of my dvds and wallscroll, i'm more into discussing it and what not.

i have the "limited holiday special" of the platinum series, EoE, D&R and a wallscroll with GNR on it.

Berserk. Loved everything about, especially the soundtrack, all up until the last episode. Yeah it brought it full circle, but though I've never read the manga, they could have expanded on it more.

The animation was sub par as well.
