Just a head's up: they won't teach you "how to draw" there. Well, not in no UK university they don't. If you need the paper for the employer though, go for it. I knew my illustration degree was practically useless. I had a feeling it would be pointless for imparting technical s...

I use fractions and formulas plenty in everyday life as a professional artist, for the taxes, yo. That's kid's stuff though; can't see myself ever needing to use... surds, or... trig... or a lot of the junk they taught us in high school, and outside of my last profession I don't need...

I like classical music as much as any other type, if not more. I play piano myself. I had to listen to some Shostakovitch recently for my course, some of it I can only describe as demented. How did he even write that stuff down as it poured out of his brain? It's a new kind of classical music to...

I think the main idea of all those bizarre tests was that NASA was literally were doing every conceivable exam they could think of because they didn't have a fucking clue how to prepare someone for being in outer space and they were paranoid about it. Yeah, I forget they had almost no idea what...

The Right Stuff Been meaning to catch this film for ages. While watching I had the sensation I'd seen it before. I think Internet memes might be responsible, but seen a few "true life" space movies already about pilots/training and they start to blur in memory. Fairly straightforward ...

Cheers. :> I do sell pretty much all my stuff, usually on my own store or privately as Etsy want a cut. If I can sell them without adding more to the bill I do. I haven't had a chance to play the game with Barry in it, yet. I'm amused he got a little spotlight for once, though. Barry learnin...

Also, Paypal is screwing with me today, not showing the payments I've had in or letting me transfer them out. I run a business gaiz, I kinda need this service. . .

Ah, Paul Verhoeven, do I miss you and your squibs.

No way would they have the balls to make a movie like this anymore.

My uncle has a kitler apparently. He just took a phone video of it entering the bathroom while he's taking a dump (thankfully all that was visible of him was limbs), climbing into his floored pants and getting comfortable in there. What is it with cats and bathroom breaks. The lock on my...

Flying must really be something to some; I have to be heavily sedated with drugs or alcohol every time I get on a plane and it's 'cause of stuff like this. Didn't Harrison Ford nearly crash his plane too just recently.

RIP

Yeah, I'm just enjoying what I have while I have it, in 40-80 years I'm guessing we won't. My life's experience and the sum of history tells me humanity is too short sighted or not cohesive enough and is kind of fucked. But then there's this tiny smidgeon of hope that just maybe ...

Just something I wonder if there's a bright spot in the here and now, or if all hope is lost, so to speak. Yea, it's depressing. I remember being depressed about it in school when they were teaching us about acid rain and ice caps melting. 15 years on and its like most people in general hav...
