How do you mean re-merged?

Some of it remained in Eva-02 during the contact experiment. There's no need to hypothesise further work done later on.

It is indeed a Luke Skywalker quote from Return of the Jedi except for the "you have it too" bit which is a new addition.

Rust Cohle: We didn't get 'em all. Marty Hart: Yeah, and we ain't gonna get 'em all. That ain't what kind of world it is, but we got ours. That to me is the true nature of the ending of S1 in a nutshell. Sure, Childress might've been a let down for some - cliché, obvious or ...

Yeah, not exactly many "innocent" people there, but in two of the cases I mentioned it really seemed to me that it was the woman to do the first irredeemable thing.

Either way, amazing series, looking forward for more.

Thanks for the first-hand experience.

Sounds like it's a go, but I'll be only happy to hear further from others.

Shocked to see not so many comments on this one! I really, really, really liked "The entire history of you", "white christmas" and "white bear". The other episodes were also great, "the waldo moment" possibly being the weakest but still interesting enough. Am ...

Episodes 1 - 5: 9/10 Episodes 6 - 8: 4/10 Everybody's clever nowadays. I watched the whole thing over a week recently. I loved the setting and the vibe. Sort of Twin Peaks' whimsy meets The Wire's realism in an interesting southern frame. Superbly scripted characters. Despite the nice l...

Cowboy Bebop on BD

Hello I'd like to know if the BD version of Cowboy Bebop is a good one in terms of pure image quality. I remember talks here that some pretty old anime would not translate well to BD because of the way the original cells were produced and whatnot. Apparently this would be an issue with NGE itsel...

Thanks Aaron, too, but Aegisub is really doing it for me, it just seems built for my situation.

Does pretty much anything you could possibly want out of subtitles, including making timing as painless as possible.

Subbing, SRT etc - I'd need some advice

Hello! while I beat Google like it owes me money™, I thought I could ask the question here too as I read of quite a lot of fansubbing. I was wondering if there are programs that can facilitate and speed up the otherwise painstakingly boring monkey job of manually timing the subtitles in an SRT file....

I don't think there was much development in the pre-Z DB characters a part from some people going from hostile to friendly (well, kinda everybody: Kuririn, Yamcha, Tenshinhan etc). But the search/adventure theme was great and enjoyable, plus the variety. The dragon balls were the fil rou...

I find it bizarre how people compare or anyway put together series and movies, so I'll personally stick to series - Cowboy Bebop (absolute freaking bloody masterpiece under any conceivable standpoint, pretty much same tier as NGE for me) - Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd gig &...

Ninja Scroll - Jūbē Ninpūchō

I'm horrified to see that there's no thread about this anime movie. I saw it again today for a good 5th or 6th time since the late 90s and boy does it still kick ass! Some great quality fan service in it as well, and loads of wits in the various battles... And I just love its minimalism in a way, I ...
