Back to Tiffany from Girls' Generation. Because I love with her. Actually, more like I'm just a regular fan of her, but she is awesome. Except her personality is kind of obnoxious, so more her singing. Actually, she's probably the least consistent of the main vocalists in Girls' Gene...

From great unhappiness comes great inspiration. It's almost as if my life were a narrative, and with all the BS making my life unhappy right now, this is the story arc where I make the best music I've ever made.

I've been spinning Janelle Monae's new album Electric Lady non stop the past two days. I LOVE THIS ALBUM. The album flows so smoothly that I just keep it in a loop. It's giving me happy vibes :D Great fucking album, indeed. Janelle is actually on performing SNL right now as I type this.

I think I've listened to "Polar Bear" by Neon Bunny like 20 times today. It's such an amazingly beautiful, melancholy song. The lyrics are beautifully heartbreaking, too, if you understand Korean.

Oscillating between complete misery and quasi-tolerable melancholy all day. :sniffle: I guess I'm "bargaining" that patience might change things with girl but realistically I know better. Do you suffer from depression at all, Bomby? Bipolar II Disorder. To be completely honest, I'v...

I feel like I've hit rock bottom... not just because of unrequited love, though that is a nice layer of Santorum icing on this shitcake. It kind of feels like there's nowhere to go and nothing exciting to look forward to in any facet of my life. Although funny enough typing those two sentenc...

Thanks for the sympathy, guys. This one is an especially big disappointment because we had a lot in common. I've learned how to get over things quickly during the past few years, but I worry that this one might take a bit longer. The silver lining is that the worrying as to how she would react i...

Yeah. Bomby confessed his feelings to someone and got rejected. Very nicely though, at least.

But still. ㅠ_ㅠ

Someone decided to add the first season of The Boondocks to NetFlix instant. I'm not sure what makes me angrier: the fact that they've caused me to waste hours of my precious time, or the fact that they neglected to add seasons 2 & 3. Also season 4 is finally coming in January fuck yeah!...

btw Bomby, new album came out Yeah, I downloaded it the other night but I haven't taken the time to listen to it yet. I haven't been on my computer much lately. They finished with Purple Bottle, which is a jam, and midway through the song Avey sang a couple lines from the Stevie Wonder song...

Lovely song. Is it weird that I've always wanted to hear Radiohead do a cover?

So I finally got to see Animal Collective live on Wednesday night and it was... awesomeeeee!!! Sadly, Dan Deacon wasn’t able to make it to open, though. I’ve seen him live before so I guess I can accept that. Instead, we got Deradoorian, whose music was really cool but wasn’t really suited for the v...

^ Yeah, I came across it randomly at a video store that was having a 25% off sale on all used DVDs. I was really excited to find the DVD for Dragon Gate Inn as well, only to realize it was a Red Sun/PanMedia quasi-bootleg (it's really difficult to determine who actually owns the rights to a ...

That's the Berlin cut. Only 7 minutes were excised for that one. Eh. Me liking the film more than most of the western reviews I've seen is probably mostly due to the film being tailored to me... you know, a WKW fanboy. I'll have to watch it again before I can really rank it, but right no...

What cut of The Grandmaster did you guys see? It's been funny to see the difference in reaction between western and eastern moviegoers. In China it's being hailed ad one of his best works, where the reaction in the west has been kind of mixed. I'm wondering whether it's more cultural...

Because it's technically a French movie? Somehow in spite of the fact that it was still eligible to be Vietnam's submission for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. I really recommend it. Visually gorgeous and communicates a lot without much dialog, especially in the film's second half....

Tran Anh Hung's The Scent of Green Papaya. OK, this movie is for the most part like super awesome near-masterpiece but the music just seemed so unfitting. Really beautiful, though.

CHVRCHES - We Sink    This band is blowing up, so they're probably going to have their fair share of haters soon, but w/e, this song is a jam. The world needs more dance music. Ah, I love CHVRCHES! I've been addicted to "The Mother We Share" for the past few w...
