I think the anime has no definite audience. It can be enjoyed by Shonen, Seinen or whoever the heck else wants to enjoy it. The manga is Shonen though. (Which can be kinda proven by the fact that Sadaniti skipped the um...hospital scene in the beginning of EoE because the manga is read by a youn...

I'm getting this on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I skipped out on the 1.0 DVD because I had seen the movie in theaters already. And I say it was a good choice seeing as though it only took 4 months for Evangelion 1.11 to come out.

I wanna see a totally happy ending this time. Not one that could be happy if you look into it enough (which I did >_<) but one that you know everything will be alright. I know third impact has to occur for the ending to take place. But perhaps third impact could occur...but not instrumentali...

Does this mean we're going to get a volume 13?

The manga now has 6 chapters that have not been collected into a volume yet and there isn't a conclusion yet. I thought the manga was planned to be only 12 volumes?

So what happened?

I read about EoE on wikipedia,learned a bit about the characters and then I decided to the series a try (silly me started with the movie first)

If the infamous hospital scene in EoE is the problem they could probaly could get a PG-13 rating by doing the scene the way the manga did it (you know without all the masturbating).

Was there anything edited from it? Not that it matters...I mean the movie was still good ether way, but I'm just wondering.

I had seen episode 24...after I had seen End of Evangelion. I was like "This could have been a lot of help!" when I saw it. Then I started from the beggining.

Seeing as the ending (be it EoTV or EoE) was enough to turn some faithful viewers away from the show, I can't imagine what it'd do to a person who never saw the 24 episodes leading up to it. All I can say is, God bless those viewers who were open minded enough to give the rest of th...

Quick...somebody go and tell us did they edit anything!

I kind of expected a hard PG-13 rating for the movie becuase considering the nude scenes are like the MPAA said it wouldn't mess up anyone's head. Or just a counter point they did see End of Eva and saw how light this movie was compared to that one and gave it a PG-13.
