The Watchmen trailers were the same way. Just a bunch of random cuts that mean absolutely nothing to first-time viewers, but enough to show long-time fans "See, we are including that!"

So yeah, I don't think showing some cuts from the Zeruel fight in the trailer would spoil anything.

I saw it subbed first, and I still loved the sub.

Spike and Allison excelled in the EoE dub, way beyond their performances in the original series. I just hope that they've retained that spark of awesomeness for Rebuild.

I think that was made by fan after he had seen the movie for the first time.

I wouldn't really say it "affected" me all that much, but it never fails to get me excited when I watch it. I just love the blindingly fast cuts that correspond perfectly with the song.

I'm kinda thorn on the darkness issue. While it's nice that we'll finally get to see what's actually going on during the nighttime scenes, I feel that the colors have lost a lot of their warmth. I'm not digging the slightly plastic look of the 1.11 version of Shinji at the phone...

I guess people who were around when the show started are the only ones lucky enough to have started with episode 1. Starting with EoE like I did? BIG MISTAKE.
