I found the gimmicky "one shot" technique a bit distracting. I found it distracting on my first viewing, but during my second viewing (I had to write a paper on it), I was completely enthralled. Even when I've looked closely at other Hitchcock films deemed more "essential...

My Friend and His Wife

I enjoyed it while I was watching it, but I forgot that I had even watched a movie like 12 minutes after it was finished. It wasn't a waste of time, but it's definitely not one for the history books, either.

I don't think Patch Adams would work as a live action film.

My favorite Hitchcock movie. Above Vertigo. Above Psycho.

I honestly have no idea. At all. It's almost kind of humorous at this point. I don't actually really care that much about this particular girl right now though, just kind of more of an "aww shucks" type reaction.

But the Chris Brown thing is really bothering me though. :impatient:

1. Damage control! Damage control! DEFCON 3! Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The rest of us bipolar folk need to hold a press conference letting the rest of the world know that the vast majority are in fact not violent woman-beating monsters. Bad enough we got to deal with Mel ...

Once Upon a Time in High School aka The Spirit of Jeet Kune Do I'm normally a sucker for movies like this (nostalgic romantic movies about young people), and for the most part I enjoyed this movie, but I couldn't help but feel let down by several scenes toward the end. There's a...

Following Although I've liked all of his films to a certain degree, I'm not big on Christopher Nolan, and his indie debut isn't any different from his mainstream films in that regard. What it does have going for it is that the style is less grating than his later films, but I found myse...

This is my official reaction to the whole debacle. That was an exaggeration but for realz though. The podium should have been: 1. Kim Yuna 2. Carolina Kostner 3. Adelina Sotnikova While we're at it, Mao Asada's performance was also better than Sotnikova's, and Ashley Wagner was definite...

I will say it is refreshing in this mdo7 guy's case that he actually seems to like other groups, including 2NE1 whom most SONEs hate because of fangroup rivalries. I don't care for 2NE1 either but that's purely because I've never heard a song from them that I actually liked. But yeah...

I'm not familiar with mdo7 (is that someone here I've never noticed?) but kpop fans in general tend to be extremely catty and obsessive. I guess that extends to fans of particular pop groups/artists in general (Beliebers, One Directioners, etc.), but because kpop is such a ni...

Ah, sorry about that, I should've put that in a spoiler tag. :sweatdrop: I also feel like mentioning Mao Asada. As a Yuna fanboy I was rooting against her at first since's always been her top rival, but I felt so incredibly bad for her after she bailed on that jump during the short program a...

Instead of joining the mob saying she got robbed (she totally did), I'm just going to say that it was a delight watching her skate again. She still holds the world records for short program, free skate, and combined though.

The calmest people are often the most internally turbulent. Yes. Facebook is probably the worst invention in human history. It's useful for keeping in touch with people. I can see why some people are so averse to it, considering how dramatic some people can be, but I can't say I've ever...
