After a long time of putting it off, I sucked it up and decided to rewatch 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time in a long, long time. This probably counts as the first time I have viewed it with an actual mindframe and can remember what happened, instead of watching it for the sake of watching. ...

You know what? I don't care how silly it looks. I could totally see that box thing in a weird dream sequence in Final.

I think it would be that whole singular being kind of thing. Everyone's thoughts would create an incomprehensible (well to us anyway) single omnipresent being, where the collective feelings, thoughts and knowledge of earth and its inhabitants become of a single voice (i.e this godlik...

Aww jeez, that just made my day. Man, someone's been studting OneyNG's stuff. Yeah, when there is a super-popular animator with a specific style, it is quite common to find clones of the same medium (just like the problem pointed out in the video "EgoRIPtor"). Also, for fut...

Fuyutski, End of Evangelion- "Sweet Jesus, Its an anti-AT Field". Lol ,sorry but i could never take him serious when he said that. Heh, I still can't get over how bored the English Dub fuyutsuki sounded (as well as everyone's favorite, 'Black Hyuga"). Another grea...

I have played the saxophone for around 6 years now (Alto, Tenor and a bit of Baritone), either in Jazz bands or if anyone needs one for a rock or blues band. Last year I started to build up a collection of harmonicas that have become extremely useful in blues and folk. I am currently teachin...

Compared to the vast ocean of shit that comprises most anime, Haruhi is god-tier*. *literally :worship: Eheheh, that was good. But what you said pretty much sums it up. Might I add that it would also have been not as enjoyable if another character had these God-Like powers; that is all part of the ...

Did you ever see the Evangelion Mother AMV? I think someday someone should try to sync up The Wall and EoE like they did with Darkside of the Moon and Wizard of Oz :D The Mother AMV was good, and a Wall/EoE sync would be glorious. However, it would never be as freaky as the Oz one, its preciseness ...

You know I always felt Pink Floyd's The Wall went perfectly with Evangelion. In fact I discovered The Wall about the same time I discovered Evangelion. EoE goes great with Pink Floyd. Yeah, a few of us here have made that connection too. I guess it's that whole building a wall around yourse...

I'm not too sure if this is intentional (people watching think it is), but tracking back to episode 8, did anyone here pay attention to the fridge that Meow ate out of on the scrap planet? It seemed kind of familiar... http://31.media.tumblr.com/93bc10754c5c122e262a2ca188188d31/tumblr_n1...

Heh, Gabriel Sachiel. This was pretty interesting, and it's good to see a new, different take on the series (some of the 90's music references were actually quite funny, and the little NGE references are cleverly placed). It will be interesting to see how it progresses. Also, really ...

Definitely one of the more stylish anime to have come out in recent years (and topped with quite a few references, I might add). I was also surprised that the currency used was Woolong (if I heard correctly).

The main reason I don't like these new films is probably because of the candy-ass, sequenced-as-fuck action scenes. The first warning was probably in The Adventures of Tintin where it looked a lot like the game Uncharted, but fortunately it works for the medium (MoCap). In the Hobbit it ...

Absolutely disgusting. A real Haruhifag like me grimaces in disgust just from reading such things. Yeah, I'm more of a Haruhi fan myself. The manga was quite painful to get through, even when Suzumiya appeared. However bizzaro Nagato changed from the extremely quiet and shy character we see in ...
