The Croods - Still a grand favorite of mine from DreamWorks Animation and this is coming from someone who is more into Disney and Pixar. The visuals are stunning, the character development flows along nicely.

D-Frag! episode 1 - Chock full of energy from all characters involved, it's becoming clear on my end that romance anime is becoming more my thing than mecha. It's a formula that may be repetitive no matter what difference is noticeable but it keeps me on my seat and starving for more. As fo...

Dead or Alive: Final - Trading away the yakuza setting for sci-fi and martial arts, this last entry in the DoA trilogy by Miike throws in plenty of those mixed in with character development in the way of them contemplating human and robot existence but not so complicated like something Ghost in the...

Dead or Alive - Being a Takashi Miike movie, it doesn't hold back on drugs, gun fights, sexuality, and gross outs. The near dead girl lying in the pool of shit kinda took away my appetite. The guy getting penetrated in the butt sex at the beginning reminded me of Ichi the Killer in te...

Just watched Jurassic Park III and it had me in hysterical laughter throughout the joy ride. It's one of those "so bad but so good" sequels that it's hard NOT to make fun of.

Currently reading Starship Troopers and I am up to chapter 8. While I enjoy the training flashbacks as much as the next person, it gets kind of boring and I want to just get to the part where the asteroid destroys Buenos Aires.

After a long hiatus from viewing, I am slowly catching up on my Gundam Unicorn viewing with episode 3 in the bag. The two deaths in the episode were kinda predictable since they were setting them up to die. Why can't Micott just shout out to Audrey "STOP STEALING MY MAN, HO!" since tha...

Watched The Lost World: Jurassic Park and for the first time ever, I thought it sucked. There's nobody to cheer for and all the characters you WISH would get eaten by the T-Rex end up making it out of the island so it's all for nothing.

Rocky III - Literally watched it three times in a row. It's THAT good to be worthy of being my all time favorite of the Rocky saga.

Gundam AGE ep. 1 - Not too fond of the kiddie style animation but the mobile suit action didn't disappoint. Shusaku - After an eternity finding a site with subtitles, the only thing that still bugs me is whether the female lead is psychic or not to be in the know somehow of all the old dirty ba...

Despite it being a hentai, I watched Aneimo purely for the story. The sexy fappable situations were a bonus treat.

Infernal Affairs - I'll be honest, I never saw The Departed before seeing this but overall this is a well crafted thriller in my book. I was confused at first as to which mole was which but the movie does a good job at putting all fears of not following well the story to rest. My only complaint...

Frozen - Much better than Tangled IMO, the animation was dazzling and the two leads were beautiful. Friday - A laugh riot, Chris Tucker pre-Rush Hour fame was still the highlight of the film much like The Fifth Element. Die Hard - Pretty much the only entry in the franchise worth watching IMO, the ...

I apologize if i came off as rude. Yeah, it's true. Joe Pisano played Toji from episodes 3-18, Michael O'Connor did it from episodes 19 to 20, and Brett Weaver voiced him in the last two episodes.

I'm talking about the three original ADV English dub Tojis. I really should've clarified it in my title, sorry about that.

Who was your favorite of the three ADV Dub Tojis?

With me, the undisputed king is Joe Pisano. He pulls off Toji's jockness with such flair that it's hard for me to find anyone who can top it. Michael O'Connor's Toji sounds like it's trying way too hard to copy Joe in every sense of the word. As for Brett Weaver, he just sounds l...

Superman - Truly a classic for the ages. I never get tired of seeing it with it's stellar performances from Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel and Gene Hackman as the diabolical Lex Luthor with his witty, eccentric humor. Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut - As one of those rare cases who n...

Golden Time ep. 12 - As we clear the halfway mark, Banri and Koko's greatest obstacle in the club where he was working and the discussion about the stolen picture made their chemistry stronger which i really liked but not at the expense of Banri and Linda's friendship. Hopefully, future epi...

Fudoh: The New Generation - Well that was overall exceptionally weird but then again, it's a Takashi Miike movie so i shouldn't be so suprised. Teens taking on the underworld with interestingly strange gadgets like the hermaphrodite girl's vagina dart gun which once shot off during her ...
