I agree. Just let things happen in the script in the right way, and the audience will react accordingly. None of those boring scenes where they just talk and cry over stuff.

UP promises to be good. I'm gonna see that within the week hopefully.

Yeah, they do tend to do this in a lot of anime. But I think Anno used this money-saving device as a commentary on the characters. I've shot several live-action short films in film school, and found that you can actually do more with a minimalistic approach, which was really good considering my ...

The first time I heard this film was being made was as a threat from Disney to fire PIXAR and make Toy Story 3 without PIXAR.

Good to know that PIXAR is back at making their own stuff.

Predator 3 , from the producer of Spy Kids ! Ah, but you forget he's also the director of Sin City . No actors, crew, or director and it's already got a release date set in one year (so far the film has less time to be made than AVP:Requiem). The last time a film had that little tim...

I'm pretty sure that there'd still be a lot of controversy if they had nudity where an adult body double substituted for an underage actor. These movies are probably going to be PG-13 anyway, so I doubt there will be anything graphic anyway. Yeah, I can see that. I remember a movie where ch...

Warner Brothers should produce a LAEM. They've always been making darker films than the rest of Hollywood. It'd be a match made in Heaven. There are a few 14 year old actors I can think of right now who could play the roles. But acting does need to come first. If need be you could fake a 14 ...

I have the DVDs and some huge, poster sized image files I found on the internet saved on a flash drive. And I access to a friggin' huge poster printer at the film school I attended. Needless to say, I have other free posters of other things too due to that poster printer.

She seems to be watching Misato and Ritsuko die in EoE as well. I wonder if there's a connection.

Re: freaky

I could probably find this out myself but asking is always better where did you buy the platinum perfect box and how much. Ive been looking for a set like that casually but I only find stuff like episodes 1-6 for like 14$. Um.... Amazon.com for about $50. Best-buy.com would have it too. And maybe F...

Though on the downside, looks like Funimation played it cheap. It's VIDEO. Not FILM. Negative points for that. "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" got 35mm prints. Miyazaki's "Ponyo" has 800+ prints ready to play in North America this August. Shame Eva couldn't get one...
