We're not actually sure if there was any other contact experiments other than Yui's in this series though. I mean, look at the Unit 03. Asuka was able to pilot it but its resident soul was never revealed, if it has one.

I have a theory that maybe the MP Evas could be completely mechanical. That would explain the huge number of them we see in the trailer and the parts we see in NERV. They probably have some sort of mechanism to produce AT-Fields, just like the Hopper drones.

So I've been thinking, and could it be possible that maybe the Cassius Spear serves to stop Impacts, as seen in the end of 2.22, and the Longinus Spear doesn't?

Maybe that's the reason Eva-13 didn't deactivate. Maybe the Longinus Spear has another purpose?

I've always thought that she saw chased after Kaji in order to establish her "superiority". She wants to be all mature and grown up, so being with Kaji would only help her achieve that goal. She places herself above others and disregards other guys her age. With the exception of Shinji.
