Can I get a mod to move all of ^ to the thread where hmm...we've been using the past year/half to discuss all rebuild OST chat?

Thanks. :)

Also, the two "sound of music" tracks where done by Ryoko Moriyama. Maybe stock music for the film?

Is there a song in 2.0 by Hikaru Utada? I heard there was a remix of a track from 1.0.

new dub + this thread = win. Love the new trailer after watching it a few times. My only complaint so far is the music choice. Super cheezy sounding. From what I heard of Spike, I'm really stoked to see what he brings on this time. I do know he does still have those screaming chops [begins to du...

Cool. Though it looks a tad bit different from the one I've been looking at for awhile.

I find it hilarious that some of you don't want to go just because it's a dub (that you haven't even seen).

It's EVA on the big SILVER frikin SCREEN!

I'm a fan of the dub, so a few of you might find my opinions to be of value. (You know who you are!) I called Alamo Drafthouse today, to see when I could reserve tickets, and the lady I talked to had NO idea what I was talking about. I'm also curious if Spike, Allison, or the directo...

Alamo draft house is literally 10 minutes from where I live.

I'll be there.

An average viewer or someone who is not used to reading from subtitles would not. They know the subtitles are coming, yet our brains auto lock onto them because that's how we normally read from books or where text is usually found. We normally look directly onto the text infront of us, because i...

For myself, on the other hand, I watch animation largely for the visuals, and when I have to read subtitles it's a distraction. I usually will watch the subtitled version the second time through, and if the dub is truly awful then I may skip it, but in general I'd rather just watch the dub....
