Just one word: Focus too much on the God-Warrior kick-ass sequence and you lose the appreciation of the general pacing of the whole movie.

True, but in terms of top of mind awareness (TOMA) the tendency that I've seen has been to think of the Panther or Tiger and the Sherman before the Panzer IV or Lee when one thinks of WW II tanks and I'm an example of this. Perhaps to some, but not to me, and perhaps the awareness a...

Because it's fine when they tease us (Italians) by saying: That is one thing. The two articles are something else. You can blame BBC or whatever when they tease the Italians, but I do not see a particular problem with the two articles mentioned here. Probably because there's a fairl...

Italian tanks instead generally sucked pretty badly by the time of their introduction, It's the absence of Soviet tanks which is unexplainable. I heard those main battle tanks from Italy like M13 and M14 were referred by its crew as "Iron Coffins"? I can see why they may not be popula...

Besides, there are people who legitimately hold the opinion that people shouldn't have emotional reactions to films. who happens to think everything after Birth of A Nation are "shallow attempts at forgery". Sure. Now that I checked it, again only Xard and you responded to that post o...

EDIT: the idiocy is strong today in BBC, FML, I should really change news site: Euro should learn from France guaranteed CFA franc "England fuck yeah, France booohhhh" What is this shit? Not sure why you are so upset. The first piece asks a valid question - Why CFA Franc is so lasting and...

Even less reason to take the bait I'd say. But perhaps you are so used to his trolling style. I won't stop you though, but then I am sure quite a number of people here are not so keen on seeing trolls be rewarded.

Tomorrow is the day when the first Madoka movie starts screening in Japan. According to introduction found in magazine, this movie will cover up to the end of Ep.8 in the TV series. It seems that they veered away from the models more commonly associated with WW II (e.g. Sherman, T-34, Panther, Tiger) and went with some medium and lighter types that aren't as well known. I think TypeIV is the most commonly associated with WWII as it is the most common tanks used by ...

What I read is that slugs are never popular in any country because it is a lot tasteless and chewy compared with snails. I doubt Belgians have slugs as part of there standard cuisine (not to say the French).

I was not here when he was banned but reading the few couple of posts he put up here I think his intention to troll is too obvious. Beats me how veterans like Bomby and Xard would take the bait so readily.

I'm not sure why this is surprising to you. I can see why Wolf gets a better box office than Momo, but OVER 10 TIMES with similar level of marketing and number of cinemas showing it? One was deemed a really bad flop and one is breaking record, why? Just the timing of release or the fame of Hoso...
