I agree with Kagerou. There's no telling how this thing is gonna (and it will) turn out.

I for one hate the Final Fantasy video games, but I love the movie.

You mean, you actually WANT to see Shinji and Kaworu get visually defiled by the hand of WETA? You should be feeling awfully lucky they haven't released anything regarding those two yet. ;;p I don't think we're going to see anything on Kaworu unless this goes to a third movie. As far as...

Seeing as how this project doesn't even have a director or producer, none of these designs or character names can be considered final. Even Matt Greenfield (Head of ADV and current producer of LAEM) has said that the initial scriptment (that includes said name changes) is more th...

Whoever did that awful Joan Jett looking picture of Misato needs to have their Crayolas taken away.

How surprising that there are more complaints about the Lilim than the Evas. That's because the EVAs look fine. It's the Lilim characters they're messing up on. Hopefully the actors don't look as bad (or old) as the concept models look. Originally posted on: 17-Jan-2004, 06:...

not me, but I liked the idea. what's wrong with Blacks or latinos? I agree. If they're going to change all the names and make them non-Japanese Characters, they might as well make it a multi-national and multi-racial cast. Icarus is the son of Daedalus a great engineer who was imprisoned in...

C.J. Icarus, don't you remember that great theory? That one was you, huh? I don't know. Isn't that greek or something? My guess would be Shawn or something if they're gonna keep giving them all these totaly white-bread Americanized names like Ray & Kate. I have yet to encounter ...

I think the Tokyo-3 designs look more futuristic because it is likely and probably smart of them to move the timeline of the story up a decade or so. This would keep any of the backstory evevnts from running into present time. I don't think the Rei/Ray & Asuka/Kate Rose (stupid names btw...

when you said that because I liked EU I'm not a Star Wars fan. Sorry if I implied that. Yes, arguing is quite a hoot, though. http://evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/lol.gif I don't soppose any Shinji (or whatever he's going to be called) designs have surfaced yet, huh? I guess t...

If i recall correctly, it's supposed to be a western. I've heard this before. Yes, I think George Lucas borrowed a bit from the Western genre. But calling it a Western is a bit far-fetched. Because I like something better than I like part of Star Wars, I don't like Star Wars. 1. EU does...

My questions haven't been answered yet. What questions are those? really want to see what the names willl be. There are interesting possibilities. I guess that all depends on whether the studio that picks it up decides to "internationalize" or "Americanize" things a bit. Hop...

What you are saying is that Star Wars is not science fiction, and that the Death Star, Light Sabers, X Wings, & AT-AT Walkers affect the story less than the technology used in Evangelion? Yes, this is exactly what I am saying. The AT-AT walkers could just as easily been oliphants, lightsabers a...

Did you mistype that, or do you say that because i like EU better than Episodes 1&2 I don't like Star Wars. That's exactly what I meant. The films are the definative vision of Star Wars, the EU is not. Don't get me wrong, I totaly respect your opinion. It's just that what you li...

No, I'm saying traitor, as in the name of the book. I stopped reading EU novels a couple of years back, so I didn't know what you were talking about at first. You might want to try posting in complete sentances next time so I can understand what you are trying to say. It's OK to like th...

Traitor. If you're calling me a traitor, I think you need to look in the mirror. Anyone who calls themselves a Star Wars fan and doesn't fully support the entire saga equaly is the true traitor. The books are nothing but a minor distraction that don't reflect George Lucas' [genious]...

"EU"?

EU = Expanded Universe

i.e., anything that is not canon in the Star Wars franchise. (which is pretty much everything except the movies)

Read Star Wars books. Then maybe you might read one where people trust in the force, as if it were, *gasp* an entity, No. Do not read the Star Wars books if you want to know what The Force is all about. Read the Star Wars EU novels if you wish to waste your time with half-@$$ wanna-be Star Trek typ...

The only difference between the new Star Wars movies and the old ones is the age at which you first viewed them (and the special FX, of course). The dialouge in the original Star Wars films was every bit as cheesy. Time has merely given a golden sheen on the classics. In fact, except for Jar...

Writing a good fan-fic is hard, much harder than writing an original story of your own. Writing a good Eva-fan-fic is insanely hard. When you're writing your own story you can just pull stuff out of your arse when you want to, there is no restrictions whatsoever. But when writing a fan-fic, the...
