It might be interesting to see if the members could prove themselves mature enough to keep conversation civil for the sake of having a conversation - instead of needing to be kept in check. If someone descends into abusive or constantly pointless posts intended to ruin the discussion, then a mod may...

I don't think people avoid making a new thread because they're lazy or too heated to think about such things. It's more thinking that other people won't feel like continuing if you say "we were talking about this, anyone interested in doing it here ?" Perhaps if we have a s...

People will still debate politics and serious matters if it gets banned, and it will just increase the amount of warnings and bans the staff have to deliver; everyone is then mad at the staff for being too strict. If it goes into a sub-forum, it will still occur outside the dedicated area meaning th...

Live your life as you would if you weren't trying to get a boyfriend. Do things for yourself, and if someone ends up talking to you or you talk to someone else, then so be it. But don't dwell on it and don't make it an objective. If it happens, it happens. Do you have any interests, othe...

I feel like we are within the topic restrictions, personally. It's about how hard games were "then" and now, so discussing the difficulty of any game, past and future, is surely relevant? As for the video you posted, I'd say they had to have purposely selected the most incompetent ...

And I forgot to address this: souls series was never about difficulty, the difficulty is just a result of the mechanics Surely that could be said of every game that we moan about for being too easy - difficulty isn't the focus. It seems not only is the Souls series wrongly considered a really ch...

I thoroughly liked the lore, but it's not good enough to sell the game on it's own, and not something I imagine the second game to even be on par with. Yes, I did go into the game thinking "this is meant to be the hardest thing since the 16-bit era". I played it through three times...

Not really, not only do enemies despawn, but checkpoints (Bonfires) are closer to each other than in the original, the game gets really hard only after you've managed to beat over 70-80% of the game. DS2 is the most accessible souls game right now and it is the game I would recommend to...

I've heard that, but I can only imagine the difficulty was curved in other ways to compensate for the lack of farming. Not saying I know that to be the case, but I'd like to bet it is. I've even heard Bloodborne is trying to appeal to more "mainstream gamers" - id est incapable...

^ Dude, megaman isn't exactly a broken or hard game, you jump, you shoot, It's still harder than Call of Duty . Take the original Castlevania and Castlevania 3 and compare it to The Lords of Shadow series. The amount of buttons available or that require your attention isn't an indicator...

I don't see the issue of the "poisonous" discussions being ignored, myself. More often than not, I don't much care for the chit-chat posts, but I wouldn't call to an end of them. If the topic itself doesn't interest me, then I'll read the first and last post and then mo...

I don't think it's of any consequence that it wasn't really delved into. Nobody likes, or continues to like, something that is lying there exposed; begging you to look at it - even if only briefly.

I think it would be better as an arcade experience, myself. Sat in a chair designed like the one in Shinji's entry plug, the controllers would be moveable like the gear stick of a car --- with a bit more of a weighty feel --- some peddles at your feet, and three screens around you. Seventeen sta...

I don't think the challenge was to use the sentence itself, but to end with the creation of a sentence that is very alike in nature - not to detract from what you have written.

I understand that sounds like an easy change, and probably should be a sufficient answer; but I'm more interested in the choice not to change the name colour along with the squares - a la the moderators and administrators.

Congratulations, Mr. Hodges. Since I didn't say it when it was brought up before. Not that there is any importance to this question, but is there a reason the pink and blue don't come with a name highlight, and only effect the squares? Is it an aesthetic choice, coding requirements, or to si...

So, do colours just get added when the need arises, and are there other colours that people have had in the past that have some different meanings?
