I was trying to think up ideas for my story for school, but I got bored and realized it'd been a while since I did an Evangelion shoop. I felt like doing a Star Wars themed one, so feast your eyes on Asuka as Darth Talon.

^ Is that so? Usually I read about fans cyring foul at directors who change the franchise or do reboots. I hope Eva is the same, making it accessible to the common man and in the hands of someone J.J. Abrams (or some other talented director) I can see that Eva can get its props. If none of ...

I wouldn't quite go so far as to say it'd be as ridiculous as a live action South Park, (at least in Evangelion the characters look somewhat humanoid, in comparison to South Park), but it's one of those things that I'd just kind of accept going in. The actors will hopefully l...

If the movie makes money I feel like a series of movies will likely happen. I think the first movie should end with Unit 03 coming to Japan, and have the final movie based on EoE in my opinon. I don't think they should try and directly remake EoE as the third film in a trilogy. First of all, I ...

At best I'd say that LAEM is pretty much off the table until the GitS adaptation comes out, possibly after the Akira adaptation comes out as well. Reactions to these will be gauged, and if studios figure 'heck maybe LA anime shit works out' they might give this project the green light. ...

With Snyder, I'd be a bit worried that he'd take the 300 / Watchmen route and just use the shots from the show as storyboards. It's kind of cool when your source material is a static comic book, and it might be cool to see a few shots from the cartoon re-created in live action, but if we...

I'm certainly glad to hear that this project isn't dead yet, even if I'm in the minority here. The fact that it's someone who is NOT Greenfield saying that they're in talks is certainly a relief. I just hope that Richard Taylor is still on board since he was very passionate about...

We're probably not going to see anything on the LAEM front until after both parts of Rebuild 3.0 have hit DVD and Blu-Ray. After that who knows, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see more and more producers and studios poking around the possibility of anime as the next big IP well. Vi...

I wounder what will happen to this movie now seeing the sudden collapse and asset sale of A.D. Vision on September 1, 2009. It's almost 2010, and it's looks like Matt Greenfield never said anything new about the movie. I believe Rebuild is doing rather well in the USA, and maybe Funi will t...

In Linkara's review for the Maximum Clonage arc in Spider-Man, while complaining about how over-the-top Peter Parker's emoness in the story was, he said something to the effect of "Shinji Ikari could take lessons from him." That got an LOL out of me.
