Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

I guess I'm just out the money spent on Digimon tickets. It's a shame that it might be a while before I get to see that one.

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

I've been really enjoying the new SD Gundam line based on Three Kingdoms. They're very easy but so cute and cool! I already needed to clear a shelf for all the ones I've built. I'll snap a photo later, you might want to try one of those!

Re: [Merch] Evangelion Merchandise 2, or, Why Do I Keep Buying Things!?

You guys are being mean! Although I don't care how mean they are I want some nesting dolls for Evangelion. Where's our Evangelion x Cheburashka merchandise? We get crossovers with everything else anyways.

Re: Crunchyroll's Timeline Video

I can guarantee you that this is complete and utter nonsense and even his coverage of the non-canon merchandising nonsense that Anno himself has stated exists only to make money is innacurate and incomplete. Because I know most of these well enough I even know the specific dark corners of the Inter...

If I have to wait even an extra hour for Final at this point I might have to cause Third Impact myself

Awww, I got all excited they were Matryoshka at first. Imagine how fun that'd be! Unit 02, Asuka in her plugsuit, Asuka in her school uniform!

Re: If you had to pick. . .

I would say Moral Orel as well. It's a pretty basic show heavily inspired by shows the creator grew up with, it originally was supposed to be a parody of Leave it to Beaver style 50's sitcoms. Because of personal issues the story took a much darker and introspective look and made you think a lot abo...

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

^ It's only for the best for Anno to not work on Eva anymore after FINAL. It wasn't told that more was planned than these 4 films for Rebuild. I do though look forward for his next projects together with fulfilling his youth dream with his own Ultraman film. Making Godzilla Resurgence before he was...

Not to be a pervert but could we normally see belly buttons in non-test plug suits? Or is the navel just to increase the eros appeal of an expensive statue?

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

I've only seen one ShinChan film in theaters but all the trailers were for things like Sentai, Kamen Rider and other kid's anime. I'm unsure if Evangelion would really fit in and Doraemon is even less "all ages" despite being very good! I just think the average viewer is much younger while...

I don't think anyone posted this but Gundam Versus Maxi Boost is coming to PS4 worldwide. Here's the Japanese website for the arcade game if you're curious about the mobile suits or gameplay https://gundam-vs.jp/extreme/acmb-on. They've also confirmed there will be PS4 exclusive suits with the first...

Chrono Clash System - Crossover Card Game

I'm unsure if anyone is interested in card games here but there was a somewhat recent new one called Chrono Clash System that is more like a Legacy Card Game, which is a card game you don't collect but just pay for a full set at a time. The first set was Naruto, the second set was Godzilla and the t...

Why did Rose have to teach Finn war is bad though? If you really needed that scene why was it taught to a child soldier? Maybe put Poe in Finn's place

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread

Oh yeah, the light speed ram! Which is funny because there were multiple times in other series ranging from comics, games and even the other movies where people would position their ships to block people from Hyperdriving. Didn't Darth Vader set up his ship to block that from happening at the end of...

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread

It's so weird that I just can't get into Episode VIII like everyone else and managed to enjoy episode IX. I think it's because by the time the Disney trilogy rolled around Star Wars had already broken me and I didn't have high hopes. Most of the serious dramatic things people seem to praise about VI...

Re: 2020 Positivity Thread (Good things that happened, you came across, etc.)

Today CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants) published the results of the CFE, which is the giant 3-day final exam for people to obtain their designation/license - and I passed!!! This was my 2nd attempt (out of 3 total per lifetime) and the last year was full of depression, intense heart ...

Re: 2020 Positivity Thread (Good things that happened, you came across, etc.)

I've been keeping up with the gym and classes! Something silly I would do at the gym is look up the official weight of anime characters and see if I could bench press them. I'm going to need to start doubling up on some of the lighter ones since I'm surpassing even the bigger ones at this point, hee...

Re: Top anime of the 2010s

I've been thinking of my top 10 for the decade. I'm sure this will change when I go home and think of stuff closer to the start of the decade but this is just my opinion for now. 1. SSSS.Gridman 2. Crayon Shin-Chan - Assault on the Dream World 3. Devilman Crybaby 4. Crayon Shin-Chan - Robo Dad Strik...
