since Cars, i've pretty much have not watched a new Pixar movie (I came close to breaking that by seeing Up, but I didn't), but I will see Toy Story 3 You haven't seen Ratatouille, Wall-E, or Up? :tsk: The reason Cars sucked was because Pixar thought it was going to be their las...

I wouldn't say superhero movies (or comics in general) have yet transcended the idea that it is all for little boys. The Dark Knight is the second highest grossing film in the US next to Titanic, and it was hailed by some critics as the best crime drama since The Godfather. If you don&#...

I'm sorry, but I think it's about time someone stepped into this thread and said it: Pixar kicks ass. Yeah, their movies are family friendly, and I'd like to see American animation companies making movies for older audiences as much as the next guy, but that doesn't mean that Pixar i...

The angel numbering was a minor change at best, and the ending, while new was pretty much the only noteworthy change in the whole movie, and could be summed up in one small paragraph. Say what you will about Greenfield, but I think he was right to hold his position because I think he was essentially...

If the movie is shorter than the first two movies, then I can see them reaching the 2010 release with ease thanks to the larger staff and bigger budget. If it's going to be as long as 2.0 or longer though, they might end up slipping into 2011, which would be ballz.

I frequently post at SuperheroHype's forums, and even discovered that one of my friends IRL was a regular there after we'd met IRL. I used to visit Gamespot's forums religiously but have since kicked the habbit, and IMDB is a bad pill that I am currently trying to quit. I also lurk at Th...

There are several reasons I can see people being dissinterested in Eva 1.0: 1. They see it as being largely a rehash of episodes 1-6 (and in all fairness, I agree) 2. Why pay $20 for the regular DVD now when I can wait for the Blu-Ray of 1.11? Personally, I have no plans of buying the 1.0 DV...

Filmation's animation quality sucked anyway, so putting "Real" in the title of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon was a small price to pay to have half decent animation.

Kaworu is way too happy, mellow and always smiling. He is also really mellos, so he could be a pothead. His are red, but not the right part. "Weed is the highest point of Lilim culture, wouldn't you agree Mr. Floaty Turtle......" http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/246/kaworu04w.jpg So...

On a bit of an strange sidenote, on friday a friend of mine gave me his copy of Angelic Days vol. 1 because he wanted to get rid of it. It's that bad, but I'm an Eva geek so I couldn't resist.

Hikari is pretty much the only female in Evangelion who isn't either a slob or bossy, so I suppose she'd make a good female room mate. If the nature of the situation is a non-platonic one though, then Asuka. I'd be willing to put up with her whining and bitching for a romantic evening wi...

Sorry man. Like I said, get into contact with your credit card company ASAP before they get the chance to make the first $19.99 charge, and hopefully you won't lose a bunch of money. Once you've been billed for the $1.50 or whatever they charged for the book, call your CC company and tell th...

BE CAREFUL about Hotbooksale.com! I was going to buy from them a few months back, but I found out from reviews that they will automatically bill you $20 a month for a "membership fee" without asking you if you order through them. It's a scam, and canceling the "subscription" ...

In Japan the only real legal limit is that if you're going to show someone's genitals in graphic detail, you have to draw at last one line on it somewhere. It doesn't actually hide anything at all, but they're kind of weird in that way.
