As easy as buying anything online. I'm sure one could even buy a kit from a local hunting shop but I bought mine from Cabela's. "Van Dykes Lutan-F Tanning Kit", I'd post a direct link but it seems that it doesn't want to work.

Nice haul IrkenEvangelion. Especially your new scarf. Hehe, thank you :) @symbv There are dozens of different ways to tan. Obviously it's smelly when you're actually skinning the animal, but the process I use doesn't produce a smell while it's tanning. It's just putting it i...

Here's an interesting link. http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2011/05/19/mami-musket-replica-accurate-in-every-respect/ I saw that this morning. It's too bad it's only a pellet gun. I'm sure if an American otaku was dedicated enough, they could make a real musket that looks like Mami's.

Relevant. Win. Needless to say I think it's a wonderful song. Very emotional in the movie too, although not as much as the Asuka scene.

It's soooo soft! I had never tanned anything bigger than a squirrel before, but I'm really happy how it turned out. Also it now carries sentimental memories because I did it with my cousin who's also into survival stuff. I hardly get to see him so it was nice. Although nothing too funn a...

^^ Thank you! ^_^ ^ If that's what happens.. But not the goal. You see, things are a little ify right now in America. Being a survivalist involves having not only the knowledge, but the tools to be self-sufficient while ensuring security. In short, I want to be sure that no matter what happens t...

MUSIC BOX!!!1!!!11! & Super Awesome Haul #4

Holy sheet, they're rolling out the Spice and Wolf stuff. A re-release of an old Holo figure and... a music box for the devout fans (me). That music box is gorgeous. There's pictures around that give a better view of it. It's a little pricey but then again I dropped $330 for a Ho...

It would be half the price if you get it in second-hand, but I understand it will still be much more expensive than any international release if it ever comes out. The only place I know of to get it second hand from Japan is Yahoo Auctions. After the buyer's fee, shipping, and everything else i...

I've got lots of stuff coming in this week such as a Zenith Trans-Oceanic G500 radio and other funn stuff, BUT I'm posting to make everyone aware that Funimation has opened reservation for the blu-rays of Spice and Wolf seasons 1 AND 2 . Season 2 has a limited edition, which of course I'...

That was beautiful, Merri. I don't think the feelings for one's waifu could have been explained any better than that. Good job. Happy birthday, Saber.

Good choice! That's where I get all of my straight from Japan stuff. They're defiantly the best site for things like that, especially BDs.

Well yes.. but in the West, cartoons are usually identified as children's shows while anime... well I shouldn't need to spell it out.

I've just recently convinced my mom that anime =/= cartoons. 8 years later... Anyone here in the West who is unaware of anime's significance will think that it is simply weird cartoons.

This weeks Steins;Gate was pretty good, although I wish more had been accomplished then just getting a new member for the gang. I agree. However, they learned how it works and how to control how far messages are sent. Both the new member and the part timer seem like time travelers.. Suzuha defiantl...
