every time I try to edit a page I'm just getting a white screen and the edits are not appearing. Why is this?

I have moved all the information from that page to the cross page where it belongs so the page can now be deleted. Also I could not find some of the images of the crosses mentioned on the cross page so if someone could find them and put them on the page with would help.
