I think you're taking the FoK a bit too literally Bagheera. It isn't meant to say the Angels don't have minds, they obviously do. It's meant to say they lack a certain kind of understanding. Remember how fascinated Kaworu was with music? That's something the Angels would never do...

I'm sure we've had this argument before. That would mean Lilith was created with the FoL and the FoK which is expressly indicated as being something you don't do. Now you want to say the ship had a power source that had long since broken down that's something else.

Either way would indicate a blatant willingness to screw each other over and abuse a massively dangerous technology that was declared forbidden for good reason. Really worrying traits to be displaying.

What was the ultimate reason for that? I don't know if it's because my eyes glazed over or it just never got posted but I never did see the why.
