Asuka's death. Sweet Jesus, that scene is terrifying, literally the only scene in EVA I find scary. I'm normally pretty hard to scare, but that scene? It's one of the few to accomplish scaring me in general.

Read the RahXephon manga a few days ago. Ending left me with a smile on my face, though that might be because I'm a sucker for (semi-)happy endings. Overall, if you liked RahXephon and want more, I say give it a read.
