You know, I don't like what I've read in the spoilers, but I'm actually starting to enjoy the chaos.

The first two Rebuild movies were amazing, but the last two... yikes.

Nobody hates Evangelion more than Hideaki Anno hates it. It's clear, based on the spoilers.

Based on what I'm seeing, this movie is as terrible as the previous one.

Spike and Tiffany are the biggest problems, IMO.

It'll probably have the Netflix dub, which is fine by me, I prefer it to the ADV dub (though the Japanese version is still the best!). Anyway, I'm pretty excited for it. I hope it's not too expensive a release. I want it.

I wouldn't laugh. I much prefer the new dub. I only ask that they restore "Fly Me to the Moon" in any physical release.

It would be nice if Shinji was just okay with being with himself.

I ended up doing a whole blog post about why I feel the new dub captures more of the characters’ subtleties. I managed to get in a good amount of explanation. However, to summarize, the old dub is broader and exaggerated while the new one feels more natural and has more shades.

And, of course, the best performance of all is Cherami Leigh as Pen Pen. It's a vital role that not just anyone can play. He's a principle player in the series!
