This sounds LEGIT.

If Del Toro can manage that hard-edge atmosphere that was present in Pan's Labyrinth, there will be no need LAEM.

Gaha I'm excited. I'm really hoping this gets made.

Whatever tools work for you, keep at it! Do you have any music uploaded? Hmmm....I've never heard of Reason...I'll have to get a copy and play around with it a bit. So you just use the devices on Reason? On my setup, I've got a LOAD of these crazy synth plugins that seem to work pretty ...

Cobb in Inception especially had a very strong character arc from start to finish, more so than Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Begins , Harvey Dent in TDK , or Leonard Shelby in Memento Ehh, I'm gunna have to disagree with ya here. Most of Nolan's characters seem just have major obsessions &#...

[list] Introjection (Seventeen More Times, 2011) - Piano-infused drum and bass that explodes into an ominous industrial finale I really dig this. Like, seriously, this is legit. What program you use? It sounds MIDI based, something like Ableton I'm guessing? My friend and I make up some...

Umm what? The whole thing is throughougly Shinbo, from the way scenes are edited to colours used and the SHAFTesque art designs lying around everywhere and prettying the scenes :) But the series seems rather restrained even by SHAFT standards. I'm not saying its bad, its just that SHAFT is ...

Many fans in Japan are saying the same things. Not sure what it is about and what focus it wants. Yeah. Sometimes its all "adventure story!" but the last few have kinda felt like a love story slowly morphing with FMA. http://i.min.us/imdZoi.jpg  -- it is more effective when he restra...

I'm discovering U2 for the first time. Are they the best band of the past thirty years like so many people say? I can't answer that yet, but they're surely up there. I never could get into U2, but I love Coldplay for some reason. If you're really into U2, you might like this . They ...

Actually, for the last few weeks, I've been reading this blog, which happens to spell out what Lynch's films are about pretty well. http://entertainmentguidefilmtv.blogspot.com/2010/11/35-years-of-david-lynch.html Those are pretty interesting actually, I may have to revisit some Lynch films...

Got caught up with all the animooo that's currently airing. For some reason I like to wait a few weeks, marathon everything I've missed, then wait another a few weeks and so on. Fractale - Not too shabby, but I'm really not sure where this show's going. At first it felt like Nadia, b...

CN isn't completely terrible nowadays.

Regular Show and Adventure Time manage to get a few laughs out of me.

Besides they play reruns of Ed, Edd, n Eddy from time to time and that always makes me a happy camper, even the episodes where they go to school.

Kind of. I know in Funimation's BD releases they'll contain a little booklet of already released stuff and a few upcoming releases. But really there isn't too much.

Nice observations! There's also that vortex that starts sucking everything up (although it only sucks up the Pheonix if I recall correctly in FLCL as opposed to a lot of ground n stuff).

Very good question. I don't have a clue. I totally spaced out for the first twenty minutes, and then was intermittently asleep for the last twenty minutes. Everything in between was pretty, but I don't feel like I can accurately pass judgement on any of it. That's probably the best expe...

OOOOH Vengeance trilogy talk!

I'm in the same boat as Merridian on this one, Oldboy never really struck me as much as Lady and Mr. Vengeance did. Lady Vengeance was my fav, but I think that might be because I see that one first.
