Re: Resident Evil

What I meant by invoking P.T. is that the RE7 demo, which is very P.T.-like, leads one to believe that RE7 is going to be like P.T. when in fact it's not.

Re: Resident Evil

Just finished Resident Evil 7. Detailed opinions below. The demo did it better. That might be a surprising opening line for a positive review, but it needed to be said. The demo is utterly misleading; the game takes a lot less after P.T. than it does the original Resident Evil, which is hardly a bad...

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

An introductory phone interview I had today with Wargaming.net went well. I had no idea how to prepare based on what I was told about it beforehand and it wound up being considerably more technical than I was expecting but I knew the answer to every question -- things like, "What's the differen...

Re: Final Fantasy series

I beat FFXV. Here are my reactions, as someone who never played the demos and never saw Kingsglaive or Brotherhood. That was fun, but to say that the story was "rushed" is being... generous. My high time with the game was before I realized how limited it actually was. I was still in Lucis,...

Re: FML general thread [8]

This is fucking ridiculous. I cancelled an interview I would have had today with an employer after (though not solely because) I checked out info on them from former employees and learned all sorts of bad things including that they never pay on time ("if at all", in some cases apparently)...

Does the URL for the favorited version of the site start with "http://" or "https://"? If it's the former, try changing it to the latter.

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

:dumbells: Two job interviews this week, my first since graduation. Both are at game companies. The first one's a C++-focused technical interview over the phone with a pretty big company that's making me sign an NDA beforehand, and that's coming up on Wednesday, so I'm reviewing my C++ hardcore. The...

A economically stable Nintendo that continues to produce games I enjoy that's what I get for paying What makes you think this move will achieve that goal? I'm not as put out as IronEvangelion, but I'm close. I'm still getting the Switch for Breath of the Wild because I'm just that big of a Zelda fan, but paid online alone had me seriously reconsidering what had previously seemed a done deal.

the only difference from the original quote is that no clickable link to the quoted post is provided in this instance. For those wondering why, that's because the clickable link feature is not a native part of the forum software, but rather something I wrote, and I didn't know about the multi-quote...
