She also seems to be wearing her old 02 plug suit in the trailer preview too so we might just see unit 2 get repaired.

Assume that some time will pass after the beginning of the next movie, since everything is pretty much totaled. They need time to rebuild and the show needs repaired and new evas.

I don't know a single person who purchases anime anymore. All my friends and I used to buy dvd's, but not anymore. We all watch fansubs exclusively pretty much now.... last DVD I personally bought was Gurren Lagann discs while back but outside that..... Thanks to portable drives, trading of ...

Yea I don't see Asuka having much role in the next films with everything going on. Them adding a new character to play with and then wasting time with kaworu being around is just going to squish even more stuff in. It's hard to believe they would use her character in such a way, but it feels...

Even dropping dubs, a company simply can't compete with fansubs. Fansubbers have a massive advantage in that it's all free and volunteer work, and our technology has just made it easier with the complete removal of needing to host anything, torrents are powerful tools. The argument of droppi...

No one ever said they would, god damn what's wrong with you. Whoever says fansubs are hurting the industry is making an argument based in fantasy. The same shit has been said over and over again since the beginning of time. Radio! TV! Film! VHS! Casettes! CDs! DVDs! Computers! The internet! Pens...

Gendo seems to do anything with a pulse, so Rei would be fair game.... it's ok... technically they are married.... sort of... not really... but kinda... I guess

I can change the thread title to one of many different Latin nationalities and it would be appropriate.

Also the quality of fansubs was pathetic, it made people want stuff localized. Now you get fansubs on the net days after a shows release, in digital quality that makes even good bootleg dvds. Fansubs used to be looked upon as a good way of getting word out and finding out what the fans wanted releas...

Gundam 0079 is long out of print and Bandai could give a damn what you did with it. The 0079 DVD's were released in dub only because Sunrise of Japan would not allowed Bandai Ent to put out a Japanese track on the DVD's, because at the time there was no Japanese DVD release of 0079 so they d...

Unless it's a kids or Miyazaki film, anime is still an otaku thing in Japan and not as popular in audience wide appeal as live action films. Eva is still going to be to a niche market. Thing to remember is also budgets are hugely different when talking about Hollywood versus Japanese productions...

Except in such a case, the fansubs do nothing. Your generalizing the fansubs are "bad" thing way too much. Fansubs are definitely a problem, but for specific reasons. Your trying to denounce the idea that fansubs are harmful because of specific clauses. It's a tricky subject and not cl...
