Just some thoughts and speculation, so don't take it too seriously. Unit 07 Pilot - I'm guessing 07 will probably have one of the pilots currently without an eva (Rei or Mari) or they'll grab someone from the existing cast that is eligible to pilot (Toji or anyone else from t...

A good way to develop your own music tastes is to just avoid the damn "Top 40" stuff. Personally, I think most of it is garbage. "Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips" - There's a line from a song I heard the last time I had the misfortune of listening to the radio. I ...

Through the Fire and Flames by StudiofarceDragonForce. I've seen them live. Surprisingly, they play better than you'd think, but they still mess up a lot. They're entertaining as hell. Also not surprisingly, most of the audience looked like engineering students from the local university...

There was a thread a REAL while back about this. It was the very first thread I posted in.

EDIT: Here is a branch off of that thread solely about the book.

EDIT 2: Whoa, Zuggy was actually helpful way back then! It's a real shame.

Maybe they've oversaturated the market. It might sound horrible, but it takes a hot fire to burn the impurities out of gold. If it's as bad as the article makes it sound, then maybe the rough times will let the true gems float to the surface and burn away the garbage.

I had no idea that so many animators in Japan get paid so little. It was a bit surprising to read about the small studios churning out "soft porn" (hentai?) and violent movies just to float by.

Hmmm . . . I'm noticing that this series had some pretty familiar VA's working for them. The guy who plays Mayuri in Bleach apparently voiced a crazy bomber in one of the episodes of YuGiOh. I find that kind of ironic since the first time you Mayuri in Bleach, he uses his own men as living b...

YuGiOh 1st Series

Everyone here's undoubtedly has at least heard of YuGiOh: Duel Monsters and its craptacular censoring, but who here has actually watched any of the ORIGINAL version of the show? (Also known as season 0)

Fun Fact: Megumi Ogata voiced Yugi in the original series.

I just watched episode 1-44 of YuGiOh Abridged. It makes more sense than the original YuGiOh. I honestly have never realized just how badly they bent the rules in the show compared to the actual TCG rules until they made fun of it.

Hmmm, I just ate some mackerel tonight. Even when pan cooked with nothing but itself, it has more oil than Long John Silver's. Just an observation. But mackerel sure tastes awesome.

And I definitely agree KFC's chicken is overrated. Overpriced too.

Mine would be Chipotle or Qdoba, they're about equal in my area. Though if I really am strapped for cash I like BK's value menu options. The MacDonalds in my area generally get my order right, but I don't feel I'm getting a very good deal for what I pay. Now when talking about what I...
