Connection with yakuza in any form is a no-no. Especially with showbiz. If I remember correctly, he insulted some right-wing group and got harangued for it by the same right-wing group so he needed the yakuza (among other troubles he caused which I do not recall) (During the bubble, if y...

Oooh. It is the collection mentality and whatnot.
One for renting to your friend, one for preservation, one for your enjoyment.

I guess people like to show off the amount of real doujins they own instead of in their hard drives.

Doujin selling at expos

Alright, this is what I do not get. Doujin selling at various expos outside Japan is pretty good business. (Tempted to do it myself) Now, that is not the problem (BUY MORE! MORE MONEY FOR Japan! GLORIOUS) The problem (or conundrum) is, why do so many people buy so many doujin...

I just saw parts of it, especially the 'Next time on...' sequence. Plug suit right arm of eye-patch Asuka. Any theories aside from 'this is either some transcendental sequel, or a physical sequel' and 'that is actually Shikinami and it is totally coincidental that she has an eye ...

Just watched it. Relatively true to the original (except the end). No background, but thankfully, I read the original so I managed. (Not a lot of exposition from the film... not that hard to guess, but I would have liked a bit more) That women who is actually an alien or something, c...

Fine, these look comical, but they are not as widely used anyway. I still stand by Zeon. Besides, they had to crush the Federation to gain their independence anyway. The Federation would have pursued the matter as long as their resources held up. Zeon did not have the luxury. I really don't mind...

Hmmmm. That might just be an excuse. I don't know. Even if that is true, she have essentially thrown away her responsibility as long as she is Aya Hirano. If she was able to get through DESPITE the problems, she might have gotten more good coverage and all that. I guess her judgement was clouded.

Well, the reaction was quite predictable anyway. Why would she risk it? Even if one was to agree to 'oh it is her own business' it is still not considered right by the majority of the population to behave like that (I am not suggesting if this is right or wrong- just thinking how PEOPLE ...

I have heard of Space Nazi argument before, but there are a few things: It is not a complete dictatorship. At its worst, it was a militarist Dutchy. I am a fervent monarchist, so I see no wrong in here. Even when the Zabis took over, they were still fighting for freedom. Just the leadership and the ...

Distract yourself with more anime/manga.

Proceed to then insist that you are not interested in 3D or will yourself to become asexual.

If that doesn't work out, join any Foreign Legion.

From its shape, I doubt they would be normal ice, unless the LCL/water can get colder than freezing point of water. (ALSO assuming that there are barely any wind) I think the only reason they might be ice is because people will have the equation Antarctica=Cold=Ice Also, because Eva likes Bi...
