Most people seem content with Asuka being with Shinji mostly beacuse she is the same age as him so it seems the most "normal". But realisticly you'd have a better chance of seeing Shinji and Rei being together than seeing Asuka and Shinji having a normal relashionship.

I respect the english actors from the eva dub, most of them did a great job, but the subbed is the way to go. The original Japanese actors are just perfect to the characters and the emotion and delivery of they're lines just are not topped by the eva dub.

The change in the design of unit 02 didnt really bother me, I like the sleek look to it. I also like the fact that the human characters had more detail to they're faces.

I feel the manga holds the advantage in how the story is presented. I love how we can always get inside Shinji's head and see how he really feels. Thing that he would not tell others and the emotions that curse through him during the most urgent of situations.
