Also, are you sure about the "MEDICAL" next to department? I'm unable to read the cutoff. Look at the top of the "M" and "E" in DEPARTMENT. They're a perfect match for the first letters in "___ICAL". We can say with a very high level of confidence tha...

Yeah, I see now that she's towelling off in the kitchen. But honestly, who goes into the bathroom just to change clothes? Also, she was caught unawares, so if she did have the sundress in the bathroom, it wasn't for their sake. She either went to her bedroom to get it after cleaning up (...

When she asks them not to peep, she's in the shower.

When she's towelling her hair in her sundress, she's in her room.

So it should be obvious how her hair got wet... it wasn't the rain. I think the real question should be, what was she wearing from the shower to her bedroom?

The word "subject" sounds much more natural than "experimentee".

So is it actually supposed to be more distant and larger than it appears? And why is it spinning?! This just keeps getting weirder ! The script isn't very enlightening. It says (roughly translated C-0795) "The clouds split apart to reveal a giant moon (shifting laterally)&q...

The "making of" feature shows that in the storyboard, the moon was heavily cratered instead of partially terraformed. Initial concept: http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww58/BarBaz/storyboard_moon_zps54940cb9.jpg Final concept: http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww58/BarBaz/pre_moon_zpsd1...

What happens to Nerv HQ at the end of the movie? In their final appearance, Gendo and Fuyutski are in a spherical chamber that is vaguely reminiscent of the Wunder's bridge. You can barely make out some control cables coming from Gendo's desk, which I've highlighted below. I'm guessi...

One thing I don't understand is where the old NERV HQ fits into the new landscape. It isn't ever shown in Q except for this implausible interior shot. I'd have to guess that it is sitting on the ground above terminal dogma, exactly where it's always been. http://i705.photobucket.com/...

When I first saw the God Warrior, I couldn't help but think of Jim Henson. I mean that in the most positive way. The only part I disliked was the building exploding into bloody magma.

I was hoping that the warrior would give a soliloquy at the end. Share its thoughts.

Thanks for the edited subs, I did a quick diff and they're a big improvement. Note to others: they're timed for encodes that include the short at the beginning.

The UTW-THORA encode is 10bit, which is troublesome because 1) some players can't play it 2) it requires a lot more CPU power for those that can. I don't understand their logic... the BD was 8bit, so unless they applied some filtering, what's the advantage of 10bit? I had to grab...

Japanese name for End of Evangelion

It's a mystery to me, Reichu. I mean look at this page for the DVD. The movie is called "Air / まごころを君に" in Japan. We need to reflect these undeniable facts in the wiki, otherwise people wont understand the true nature of this Nihongon f...
