Same for me. I fully support an A/S relationship, but when you look at the evidence, the possibility of an Adam/Eve scenario is very unlikely. Yep, it's highly unlikely, especially when Yui told Shinji that people can return if they want. I think it's safe to assume that from the billions o...

I'm an A/S shipper but I certainly don't believe or like the Adam/Eve scenario.

So now, I find myself intellectually able to point out each significant detail in the series proving that Asuka has an interest in Shinji, but intuitively I find myself at quite a loss to explain her actions. I understand the how of Asuka, but not the why of Asuka. Though, given the general obfusca...

However, in order to fight the Evangelions, Shinji and Asuka must learn to use the force and battle their archnemesis, Darth Evader. Will Asuka and Shinji be able to stop Evader and free their captive race? Damn. I could make this into a movie and make millions. OMGLOL!!!! That's frikkin' h...

Great analysis OMF. I can't wait to get to that part again. After watching EoE, I have enjoyed EoTV even moreso. On a slightly different note, I am surprised it took you that long to figure out the morning woody. http://www.evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/../images/-grin.gif Originally posted on...

Hmmm, none that I know of. Just toss it in the Go Hikari! thread. I think I need to start sketching again.

OMFG! That's adorable... did you draw that Digitalex? I wish. I found it browsing for Evangelion info a long time ago. This is how I would have drawn it if I could. The (unknown) artist apparently shares the same vision as me. http://www.evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/../images/-happy....

The Post 3I world is filled with fan-fics!! None of which are terribly satisfying. The pervading feeling is one of anticipation of the sequels, none of which are forthcoming. Ha! I agree. As far as post 3I, I see people building an even better city (in Japan), Tokyo-4. I also see Asuka and ...

That's fine, let them bash me or what not. I am only telling it how I see it. If they have a different way of viewing it then that's fine with me. Maybe I'll learn something didn't know about my favorite anime. That sucks that you cannot " rip my intestines out" due to you...

Very different in style, I don't think anyone denies that. It's not a point thats often raised though, because people are too busy debating the content. Personally, I really wouldn't have ever been happy if the TV ending was all that there was. Why? The style. Too downbeat for an ending...

I actually thought that Evangelion ended on a really interesting note. It leaves us with the slate completely open to possibilities. No hints about what the future might hold in store for Asuka, Shinji, or the others. What happens afterwards is completely up to the viewer to decide. I don't kno...

OMF and Reichu began an interesting discussion about whether the Evangelions should be seen as feminine in nature or not. Personally, I consider that the Evangelions are not just indisputably female, but that they are (in part) symbols for motherly love, and the protective power that it has...

We know the circumstances in which that line arose: http://animaniajapan.livedoor.biz/a...s/17687653.html This was done under Anno's direction - and it's a reaction to the scene in her hospital room. We can't get closer to the horse's mouth than this what was happening in that scene...

Of course not. My fanboy eyes have been focused on the trio of female persuasions...Misato, Asuka, and Rei.
