"EVA-04" explosion

Screencapped from preview. Note 1, either the explosion is lighting the red sea, or the sea is physically turning red. Note 2, rainbow above cross. Further note, is it me or is the epicentre of the explosion out to sea and not inland? http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c49/tsscorpio/yanaprev04.jpg EV...

All I thought was "You made me drop my soda...you shall die before the final movie". To be honest, I didn't see it, and I'm not sure I do. Spilt soda is just a spilt drink, spilt coffee can be scalding. I'm not sure what point I'm making, but I don't find them particula...

Earth & Water Stuff

As seen throughout the film, the ocean is red. I'm sure like most people I pissed mountains when I saw that first shot. However, there are several instances during Ramiels first appearance where the ocean and rivers are clearly blue.

Continuity error? Are certain water sources unnaffected?

Meh.

Either way, I don't think there's much evidence in regards to the form of the FAR. "Making God in their own image" doesn't do it enough for me.

Re: The 'Adams'=FAR?

Anti-Goth wrote:If I remember correctly, Reichu and several other members once remarked that the FAR would look like smaller versions of Adam.

...I don't think you remember correctly. It doesn't make sense for the FAR to look like Adam instead of normal humans, or vice versa.

Given how it takes over 5 months for a DVD to come out anyway, and the possibility of releasing both an Evangelion DVD AND theatrical sequel to coincide with Easter makes me think March.

I refuse to get into a debate about it on this forum, but this series is amazing. There is more substance here than in the past 4 Japanese animated series, has a Beast Wars-like story and has enough G1 linkage to make fans spew. I don't know whether this is because I hang around a board for more...

Seeds come in two kinds: those possessing the "Fruit of Knowledge" and those possessing the "Fruit of Life", i.e. Liliths and Adams. What makes you think there are only 2? From an evolutionary standpoint it makes sense to make dozens of different kinds so that one will be sure t...

goddamn, the dub isn't that bad. Not nearly as bad as the dubs for the other crap AS shows. My main problem with the dub isn't with the cast (although, I still vastly prefer the Japanese counterparts), but more or less with those who produced it, translated, and changed whatever the...

I'd agree with that. However, if anyone isn't too keen on the idea we could always set up a thread for people to post what they think should be edited, almost creating a checklist so to speak.
