Re: [Fic] Amarantos
Thanks Geo. Shinji and Rei being around one another for a year or two earlier than canon is something I'm not really sure how to handle. I mean, I've never had a particularly good grasp of Rei's character. I know she can be emotive, especially the longer she's around someone and if there's an attach...

Re: [Fic] Amarantos
I should really get around to updating the chapters on here, since they're pretty... unpolished, compared to the newer chapters I have.
I'll do it eventually. Maybe.
Thanks for reading, though! I'm actually kind of dreading writing from where canon takes off. But... it should be fine.

Re: From Your Lips to the Author's Ears: Story Ideas
Asuka/Kensuke,... Yeah, Kensuke/Rei or Asuka/Hikari makes more sense and is more plausible than those two getting together.  :um: Brother brer... every ship is destined to sail in some verse or another. I think Kensuke/Asuka is one of those pairings that wouldn't blossom until ...

Re: Star Wars
Had some pretty neat action, but the Stormtrooper slaughter was just obnoxious. Ship ramming scene was probably the best. The planet shield had me rolling my eyes though. K2-SO was the best character. Bodhi was pretty good too, but I forgot his name and had to look it up just now. Space Zatoichi was...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now
It's funny that you mention how long it took you to find this one. I always thought the movie was a huge deal! I was sorta into anime back in 2003, as much as a thirteen year old with a dial up internet connection could be into anime, and I actually remember that Jin-Roh was a bit of a big deal. I ...

So people who are well-adjusted and also 'get' the show don't exist?

For the first time in over 15 years, I saw the first episode of Gundam: The 08th MS Team 08th MS is one of my favorite Gundam iterations. Wish there were more like it. Watched Jin-roh the other day and, just - wow. I can't believe it took me this long to find this movie. I'm a little salty it isn't...

Re: Amanda Winn-Lee and Her Apathy toward Eva
On one hand, yeah, it's just a job for actors/actresses and that makes sense, but Amanda clearly has no respect for what she works on. Everything she does reflects that immaturity.

Re: Hollywood's "Ghost in the Shell"
Was hoping to see more of the Section 9 team in the trailer, but this still looks incredible. I know the Major's background is pretty vague in each title, but I do remember in GitS SAC she was crippled before getting one of the first fully cybernetic bodies, or something like that. I wonder how they...

Re: Hollywood's "Ghost in the Shell"
^ not impressed the CGI looks fake. I've seen better digital effects in one of the Matrix sequels. Second of all why copy that particular scene from The First Ghost in the Shell movie if you aren't going to do the plot of the first Ghost in the Shell movie Justice? *Better CGI in the Matrix. My bra...

Re: New Gainax animation -- Desert Knight
Ah, I see they're placing it in the brief and often forgotten period where all Arabs wore white, exclusively. Except for a select few who wore white AND a black coat.
