^ I often had dreams like that, maybe up until my early teens. I would resist waking up when I realized it wasn't real.

But now it seems like my subconscious is fixated on my death. :um:

At least, that's what most of the recent dreams I can remember lead me to believe.

Weird ass dream that I can't really remember.

All I know is that murderous hillbillies clad in death metal bondage gear were involved and I ended up dying after a bullet shot through the nape of my neck and got lodged in my upper back.

I re-watched the first season and realized that I'd managed to skip over an entire episode on the first go around. It was the one where Morty made a half-alien baby with that Robocop-looking sexdroid and Rick + Beth visited the home planet of said alien baby's species. Good episode. Really e...

I also get that McCarthy-ish vibe from TD at times, so it's unsurprising that the author is on Nic Pizzolatto's list of influences. Also unsurprising but cool to know is that he likes Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. Good taste confirmed.

edit: That was intense.

That's really more of a set-up for a character arc, rather than a complete one. Stories that don't bring a character arc to completion tend to illustrate a point with this sudden, unwanted stop. Given how the story has been thus far, it wouldn't really work. Killing off Velcoro at this ...

I enter a room and, from the wall on my left, light shines in from a large window. The light isn't very bright, it's the dull glow that occurs on a dreary day filled with clouds. There's a woman sitting on her bed with her back against the headboard. Her hair is very long and dark. It is...
