First Teaser - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orIdY5qcO04

BRUH!
It looks really freaking good. The CGI isn't screaming at me, vastly better than the previous trilogy's animation style and the characters look much better than the concept art.

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread

Trailers we have gotten so far for S2 of The Mandalorian, out this Friday. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW7Twd85m2g - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICuqzhViWAI They are playing things very close to the chest, and even aren't allowing early reviews for fear of spoilers getting out. I'm gonna t...

Re: Your entertainment wishlist?

Just caught that whole bit of info on Wikipedia. Shame he had to ruin his career due to not accepting his offspring and especially with the first Fast and the Furious still being his best work. I honestly notably liked Stealth, Mummy 3 & Daylight (none great but I would say they are firmly good...

Re: Your entertainment wishlist?

Really? That's news to me because last I heard, it was reported that Cohen had tried to hire strippers as a method to rid the trans from his daughter. I might be extremely misinformed but that's what I recall... On February 21, 2019, Cohen's transgender daughter, Valkyrie Weather, accused Cohen of ...

- Jurassic World 3 does not waste, kill off or humiliate Neil, Goldblum or Dern. - Jurassic World 3 is better received than the previous 2 JW films. - Riddick 4 happens & Katee Sackhoff returns for it. - We get a update on the NBC Witchblade tv series that was announced in 2017 (at least confirm...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Raiga: God of the Monsters This is a low-budget kaiju movie from Japan, where the filmmakers are clearly the ones having the most fun out of everyone. The audience can also have fun if they realize this early on. A lightning-summoning monster rises out of the ocean and attacks Japan, and the main c...

Rambo - Last Blood (2019) Worst of the series but still decently good. More Death Wish/Taken than Rambo. https://cdn.24.co.za/files/Cms/General/d/7996/1bce14b2298f4af8b60f7dac4bda3695.jpg Pros! - Actress playing Gabriela did a very good job. Her tender but slightly awkward bond with Rambo felt most...

There does seem to have been a glut of werewolf movies its like the pandemic has gotten everyone interested in them again. I am Lisa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywbu4F2_6mE&ab_channel=JoBloHorrorTrailers This is the first movie I've seen that openly deals with the women sexually assaulting ...

Re: Godzilla & Kaiju General!

Jesus fuck tits, I'm watching through the third and (thankfully) final Godzilla anime film, and I've never felt so much hatred and confusion over a movie in my life. My hatred for this thing is stronger than anything I've felt over this franchise before. Like, I haven't felt this way since DC's The...

Re: Comic Books!

Finally back to reading comics with moderate consistency. Finished... William Gibson's Alien 3 comic adaptation by Dark Horse. - Surprisingly decent story (I recognize I am in the minority here) - Only serious complaint was them not using Ripley in virtually anyway (not sure if this was at the stage...

Started these 3 last year, barely touched them this year despite the lock down :um: Gotta get back at it. Not too much to say so far. All 3 are good. https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1328320669l/12914504.jpg https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51t7p2...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

C.h.u.d. (1984) - Fairly damn good environmental monster movie with a surprisingly fleshed out cast of characters. Great score. Largely good make up/suits for the monsters. Only downside is the climatic battle doesn't actually involve the Chuds themselves and so there isn't really much of a resolut...

Greek Mythology anime on Netflix Blood of Zeus . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JAQh544RHE Really pleased, I have been wanting a Thor anime or something like this for a while now. Animation and visuals are striking and designs seem solid. Hopefully Zack Snyder's upcoming Norse mythology anime will...

The Batman delayed till 2022. Wandavision teaser. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj9J2ecsSpo Not sure how I feel about the Sitcom illusion thing. I am glad Vision's suit doesn't appear to have degraded under a tv budget, always liked the execution of his design in the movie. John Cena's Peacemak...

Really well done fan concept art for the Flash Batman team up movie by George Evangelista. Flash's outfit is based on official concept art at Fandome. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EgrDbP8U4AIB--C?format=jpg&name=medium https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EgZeO9uU0AA-Ss1?format=jpg&name=medium

Re: Celebrity RIP Thread

Had no idea he was even sick. Guess nobody outside his family knew. RIP. There were some photos that came out of him looking hyper skinny but yeah beyond that he kept it extremely private. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 all the way back in 2016 and has made 8 films since, that kinda willpower is pro...

Hey “movieart”man, Maybe wait a few days until you start worrying about what’s going to happen in Black Panther II. You didn’t even wait a few hours. A human being, by all accounts a kind and caring one, just died. RIP Chadwick Boseman. I just made those points about the MCU ramifications because o...

Chadwick Boseman has died of colon cancer at 43. He was diagnosed with stage 3 back in 2016 and made 8 films while battling it. Absolute warrior! RIP! https://bookandfilmglobe.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/443.gif EDIT --- Removed comments about the future of Panther in the Mcu. Sorry.

The Batman teaser - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLOp_6uPccQ Massive Batfleck supporter here... they sold me. Damn this is going hard into the Seven-ish gritty noir vibe and I am loving it hard. His suit and even mask looks vastly better than I feared going by BTS pics of the stuntman in the sui...
