Finished Halo: Glasslands last night, gonna grab the sequel Thursday War this weekend, and the third book when it comes out in January. I really like novels that expand on the universe of games I enjoy, and this trilogy covers what happens after the human/covenant war ends.

Well, we just had a tire iron thrown through our front window at 2:30 in the morning. Apparently my younger brother knows who did it, but won't tell me or my mom, who won't stop crying, why they did it. What a fucked up start to a day.

This'll probably stay up til at least Christmas, if not all winter. I don't change my wallpaper very often, especially when I find one I really like (like this one). Edit: I finally learned how to do a bit more with desktop customizing, it looks a bit nicer now IMO. http://i.imgur.co...

Last Life in the Universe

Quite a melancholic little movie, but I enjoyed it immensely. 9/10.

Pusher (1996) The debut film of one of my favorite directors, Nicolas Winding Refn (who made other fantastic movies such as Bronson, Valhalla Rising, Drive and Only God Forgives). a lot of his later films are praised for their beautiful visuals, but this film is one of the grittiest ...

American Horror Story: Coven. Not what I was expecting at all, from the initial description I was expecting basically a television remake of Suspiria, but instead its more of a campy, over-the-top teen drama with a lot of gore, and a lot of pretty good humorous moments. First three episodes have dra...

Ever since I can remember I've always had reoccurring horrifically vivid nightmares about two skeletons that live in the crawlspace under the stairs leading into my basement. They always come and go in waves. Before last night I don't think I've had one since I was about 16. I know it so...

Not really a poem but too short to be considered a story. BLACK SQUARE Black square in the back of my mind keeps growing, getting bigger and bigger until it hollows out my head. I'm seeing things in my peripheral that I know can't be there. It's so stupid; today I even tried to pray alth...

The Believer.

I'm not used to seeing Ryan Gosling showing much emotion, so watching him play a self-hating jewish nazi was certainly a shock to the system. But he really gives a fantastic performance. 8/10.

Halloween is closing in fast, so I thought I'd give a shout-out to Night of the Demons for being re-watchable enough that I've viewed it with friends every October 31st since 2006.

It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia is probably my favorite 'currently airing' show. I really enjoy how quotable and rewatchable just about every episode is. This season (9) and last season (8) are a little weaker than their predecessors, but I still think its hilarious. Se...
