On my desktop machine, I decided to give openSUSE a shot. So far, I like it. It works reasonably well, but there are things that take getting used to. KDE, in particular. The only major issue I've had is that I can't VLC to work correctly. That's not a huge problem because I got MPlayer ...

How to pronounce "vim" in Japanese.

Hehe. I found this, today. I know what it is supposed to mean, but the way it is written is funny. If you pull up the man page for "false", you get this.
[code:1]false - do nothing, unsuccessfully[/code:1]

So, it just keeps getting better. Apparently, my mother expects me to do parts of my job for free. If you didn't see the post in the thread about it, we've got some ransomware at the office. Anyway, last night she moaned at me for insisting that I clock in when she asked me to help put goods...

Those are very nasty - especially the ones that access networks drives. Make sure that some of your backups are not accessible from the machine they are taken from. We've feared this for a while. It is incredibly fortunate that, when I was working from my apartment, I would make routine offline...

What do you think is inside the box? A bag. Around here they just package it in a box so it's easier to carry and dispense. It's ideal for cheap wines like that because air never interacts with the wine inside the bladder so you can keep it for a while, unlike when you uncork a bottle. I...
