Stupidity like that doesn't have to happen that often to become the face of the movement. Between the media latching onto it for ratings and the way things go viral, it only needs to happen a few times because people won't hear about all the times it doesn't. That's the problem with...

How well an actor can speak is certainly part of what people enjoy about actors. Look at the plot of The Artist, or how much people popularize the voices of actors like Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones.

These people are racist and are breeding racial strife. Up and coming generations of whites will start avoiding black people out of fear of being berated and assaulted because they're white, even if it's a tiny minority of black people that engage in this behavior. ...I'm not sure if th...

Just because this kind of thing happens at some protests does not and should not reflect poorly on the BLM movement-- after all, I do support the cause at the root of the movement, even if I do not necessarily agree with how some of the protests manifest themselves. I'm heeding my own advice her...

Best actor in Pacific Rim was Idris Elba. Next was the giant robots. Everybody after that was just a side dish.

I'm in the state of Massachusetts, so Yale I find particularly concerning given its proximity to me. (Not posting my university here. Sorry, folks!)

The events happening at Mizzou and Yale combined with the threat of said events happening at my own school as well as what happened in Paris last night, when also mixed together with the stresses of my daily life, have put me into a very foul mood. I hope this is something that will go away after I ...

If Anno dies before Shin comes out, I have no doubt that the basic path of the movie was known to people other than himself. While I don't think his early death would affect our ability to see a version of the last Evangelion movie that is at least partially the way Anno intended it to be, it wo...

I'll admit that I'm surprised a bit by the casting, but I'll reserve judgement until I get the chance to see him in costume and makeup.

I remember Elfen Lied! It was one of the first anime I watched, come to think of it. It's not one of my favorites, and I don't know how much rewatch value it holds for me (having already watched it twice, the second time just to make sure I didn't miss anything) but I'd watch...

Asuka getting sliced on the visible left, Zeruel slicing on the visible right, and Eva-00 coming up out of the ground with the N2 on the far right. Make it so.

I've gotten very mixed impressions from the promotional materials for that movie. Some if it has made me believe that it's going to be fantastic, while the other half has made me think it'll be a disaster to be stashed somewhere with the Dr. Seuss movies.
