Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

I am a fan of just about anything KMFDM performed in the 80s and 90s so when I now have the honor and privilege of listening to the Giorgio Moroder Metropolis Mix of their famous song "Juke Joint Jezebel", it was a version that did a dandy job of giving me the rhythm I always wanted the or...

Frozen II A near perfect sequel that stumbles on a few aspects. While it's great to see the bond between Anna and Elsa, a lot of moments have me questioning whether Anna loves her like a sister or is just plain in love romantically with her :cringe: ... She doesn't spend a lot of time with her boyf...

Today after dining at Denny's, I went to Walmart where not only was there nothing of huge interest but mainly the old people nearby were sneezing out of control. It doesn't help matters either that the store intentionally to save money doesn't use air conditioning. So it was a waste of time altogeth...

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Just to shuffle the topic to other series, I am getting ready to watch 0083 all over again. I have seen it a few times but from what I remember MAHQ saying is that I would understand it better if I view Zeta first. I have seen only the first 8 episodes of the latter so i'm not completely caught up s...

Going through my first Standard (changed to Assisted after dying so many times) Claire campaign on Resident Evil 2 remake. It's so difficult staying alive with the zombies when I haven't even had my first Licker encounter yet. But I have had so much fun in collecting items and using fire rounds on t...

Re: Pictures Thread 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I turn 32 years old and I thought what better way to celebrate early than to dress up as Total Drama Duncan more accurately with short pants rather than jeans. And even though I don't sport a green mohawk and my beard is too much, I am proud of my cosplay attempt. http...

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

My apologies to everyone who replied to my declaration on Seed, I feel like I just made a mountain out of a molehill. Truth is, I only have limited knowledge of the Seed/Destiny workings due to having only seen some of the episodes over two decades ago as well as the Seed special edition trilogy. Al...

Tomorrow is my 32nd birthday. I already have cake in the fridge that I got from Valentine's day so that'll be a treat and I will be receiving gifts from loved ones in the mail. I hope to visit them very soon because it's usually once or twice a year that I get to share with them.

For some reason, from the moment in 2.0 that Mari said the line about using adults to further her own agenda, I knew that somewhere along the way she would be dead meat. Maybe I am wrong but it's just what my gut is telling me.

I like to think of Destiny as my very own Gundam equivalent of 1997 Batman & Robin hehe. No matter how much i know it sucks, i always come back for more.

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Isn't SEED like one of the most popular ones in Japan? I personally think SEED has a fantastic Gundam story - if anything, it's some characters and recycled animation that holds it back a little, not the story/substance. I guess but another defect of bringing confirmed dead characters back to the l...

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Would i be correct in saying the Seed and Seed Destiny franchises have the popularity that say something like Joel Schumacher's Batman movies somewhat had? Both are style over substance and feel like they were made with production in some form interfering with what could've been a vision just as per...

Ranma 1/2 The Movie 2: Nihao My Concubine As good as the first one with more focus on developing the several romances scattered throughout the harem though if only it were a bit longer like say as long as the first movie because the one hour running time makes it seem like a two parter episode bloc...

All caught up on the first three uncut version episodes of Overflow. While the designs for the characters and the sensuality are knockouts, they always have to get us confused with the we should because we're not related but we shouldn't because we are technically related since childhood angle most ...

Yesterday, me and pops went to Ginza Restaurant where I helped myself to some California Roll sushi which marked the first time I had ever eaten avocado. Ring (1998) The film had a very atmospheric feel throughout with the tape and the mythos of it's origin. It also makes a statement about a mother too busy to tend to her son especially due to being exposed to the curse and being forced to work overtime with her ex-husband. And if I am going to talk...

Ever since this morning, I have been suffering a lot of pain from a nagging cavity in my molar. The biggest problem with this is that I have to wait until January 7th to make a call for an appointment with a dentist since the 6th is Three Kings Day and they're not working that day.

For me, the issue with the new Sonic trailer wasn't so much the redesign of the character, either way it's a blue hedgehog, it was the decision to change "Gangsta's Paradise" to "Blitzkrieg Bop" as the soundtrack hook. Of all the things the first trailer of Sonic got right, I thi...
