Re: Last Movie You Watched

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) From start to finish, i could tell this video game adaptation was a real labor of love dedicated to the fans and not another cash grab. Ben Schwartz is honestly the best Sonic actor around and his chemistry with OG Cyclops is fun to watch. Jim Carrey as Robotnik steals eve...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I mostly only remember Todd Phillips for Road Trip and Old School basically. Plus I heard that at one point, he was tight with GG Allin and even got to make a documentary on that weirdo. I wonder if the character Todd played in Old School and Road Trip is somewhat based on antics old GG might've pul...

I never got that impression from Tomino before, interesting. If anything, from what limited material I have seen it's usually the teen male pilots who get constantly bitch slapped by the authority figures.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures is the first House of the Dead movie with the over 7 minute gunshot sequence vs. the zombies with rap metal playing in the background.

Re: Currently Playing 5: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder!

Sakura Wars is one of those things that has always existed at the corner of my consciousness, seen it pop up here and there without actually knowing a thing about it. I feel like I should give it a try some time It's a blast when you get to know it. BTW, the pink robot you told me about in the PM i...

Re: Currently Playing 5: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder!

Had an absolute blast playing through the mecha combat that Seijuro and Sakura displayed in Sakura Wars reboot PS4! :D Also the story portraying their backgrounds of how the first Sakura saved the current Sakura's life when she was younger and how Seijuro lost his warship were both touching. The Sha...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

IDK if it's unfortunate to say that when I was a kid, the first Land Before Time film I saw was number three The Time of the Great Giving. It's still my favorite of all the sequels I have seen right next to Land of the Mists. As for going from the kid friendly sequels to the original where everythin...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I still have my VHS copy of Titan A.E. as well as the soundtrack CD. The mix of electronic and heavy rock tunes were and still are a treat for me to hear. As for Don Bluth films in general, I think his philosophy is that children can go through the most insane things imaginable just as long as you g...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Moana (2016) Eternally grateful I decided to watch this on a whim. The songs "How Far I'll Go" and especially "You're Welcome" will be stuck in my head for weeks but I will gladly be humming along to my brain's recollection. I also like that this "princess" Disney film...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Really don't see what all the commotion about EX-ARM is worth it. The animation may not be all that impressive and it may blatantly rip off certain sci fi properties but it's all around guilty pleasure fun. Nitpick to be had is that every time Minami and Alma kiss to establish a link with Akira, the...

In a way. What I do know is that there is a song playing in the beginning race but it's not the one that the end credits are promoting.

Re: Help regarding IGPX episode 1 soundtrack

Just signed up for Spotify (didn't know it was free), anyway there appears to be no "Atomic Moog (Cornelius Mix)" by Coldcut anywhere in the IGPX soundtrack compilation when I looked. It started with "The Turnaround" by Herbaliser which was the song playing when Team Satomi was a...

Help regarding IGPX episode 1 soundtrack

Reminder, this is only for those who have seen IGPX the series. There is a song in the beginning race of episode 1 where Team Satomi is in the finals of the IG-2. Apparently, according to the credits the song is "Atomic Moog (Cornelius Mix)" by Coldcut but I have listened to that song and ...
