Wow, that's actually not a bad little write-up about the ending - Insightful for the book even, haha. I really enjoyed the film adaptation, Bardem was down right scary as Chigurh. As with most of the time with these things though, I still prefer the book over the movie.

The rebooted X-Men: Legacy is going to focus on Legion (Xavier's son). That's all that's known about it ATM - Will have to wait and see if it's any good or not, haha. I have all of Mike Carey's run on the title in trade though. His tenure on Legacy is easily one of my fav...

Whilst EOE has its sad moments, 'bittersweet' and 'quietly optimistic' are words I'd use to describe the conclusion itself. I mean, Instrumentality is averted and Asuka IS ALIVE. I pull a sense of hope from it all. It (EOE) is a very emotionally draining experience though...

Seeing Evangelion: Q/3.0 in Japan

Thought it may be good to get some discussion going amongst any users who may be seeing the movie when it drops in Japan this November. I'll actually be over there 19-26 November and going to take the opportunity to see it - Even though I won't understand a single bit of it because my Japane...

Personally I think you can not try to find meaning in every detail. The table cloth was red... IT SYMBOLIZES THE DEATH OF HUMANITY OMG WHAT DO!? I've found the community here to be pretty good in this regard so far, i.e. letting anyone know if they're grasping at straws or over-analysing so...

I've never really enjoyed an Avengers book before but I might try it out because I'm a Remender fan (Thanks to UXF). I think the last Avengers thing I tried was Bendis' New Avengers (Post-Siege) with Luke Cage newly heading the team but I couldn't get into it. The Boy...

One small problem; Mari's pink plugsuit has a '5' on the back.

I'm too lazy to source an image but... Yeah. Swiss cheese.

So apparently a lot of stuff was cut from the film to keep in under three hours: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/08/07/scenes-revealing-banes-origins-were-cut-from-the-dark-knight-rises/ Apparently there was more on Bane's own origins which I think we'll see in some form in the DVD/Blu-ray ...

Wouldn't that kind of contradict what you posted further up though? As Unit-02 has the beta symbol shown and it's highly unlikely that it would be a separate unit to what I would assume to be Unit-02 Alpha (Before being damaged by Zeruel in 2.0).

I agree more with your earlier post.

Thinking about starting my re-read of The Wheel of Time as the final books comes out in January. Hell, it'd took me like eight months last time to get through all 13, so I better get on it, haha. Finished Fight Club. Decent, but it's not as special as people make it out to be. Now, onto The ...

Curious if there are any differences between the first and second printings from Viz, like different/variant covers? It would be easier if I lived in Australia, but I don't. Ironically Viz is based in San Francisco and I know where their HQ is, although they are largely nondescript. The next tim...
