it's the name of a sunken ship, not a person. But in the context of a fictional work, people are mostly willing to roll with it.


True enough, not sure if a UK or US show would get away with calling a character Charlie Titantic or Mary Lusitania :P

Quick question from someone whos taken in a lot about Eva but doesnt know a great deal about Japan and Japanese culture. I know about the significance of some of the surnames and middle names but would the first names and surnames generally be seen as unusual or common or even funny in Japan? Guess ...
