BTW, I just thought: This whole Shinji being younger and time skip reminds me of another Anno-anime, Gunbuster.

I guess that reduces the pain at least a little bit.

I've kamikazed (as I like to call it) through this thread, not dwelling on any spoilers (Although there are certain things that this movie was going to do regardless and I knew it) if I spot them. And so far, the one that REALLY has me scratching my head is: So everyone has becom...

I'll try to be on the lookout for reviews, but will try to avoid spoilers as much as I can. Maybe I will watch a camrip but if there are movies I really want to watch that I've gone years without watching, maybe I can handle holding on for a while.

So, a local anime, videogame and computer science show organized a screening of 1.11 here in Juárez and I went to watch it along with my brother, my sister and some of their friends. At first, it was kind of crappy because they said they would start selling tickets two hours before the show. Alas, t...

I just asked her if it was just something she'd be doing "just because" or if it was in any way related to 3.0. I told her that if it was secret, she didn't have to tell us : p

I could say that the poster is lazy but I'll just say the color scheme of it makes me wonder about what's coming next. Compare that to the one they did for 2.0/2.22

Hey, the more EVA the better. But I hate to wait so long haha. That said, I hope we get two great movies here.

On one hand, I like the title because it makes me curious as to what will come in the movie and what will it mean exactly. I also enjoy the irony of it. On another, I can't help but feel they should have picked a more formal word than "redo". But then again, this is a movie where a fou...

If the stories about the animators using an animation style that is supposed to match the words spoken by the characters is true, then someone should read Asuka's lips and figure out what she's saying? By the way, this has me very excited. Finally a release date, some truly badass (albei...

This is all making me think that we will see Q in the summer of 2012 or at the end of next year, at the latest.

I agree with Brikhaus, I really hope that it is a film in two parts as was planned. But more than anything, I really hope the wait is worth it.

I hope it actually happens this time. They didn't say anything they haven't said in ten years. Although I was hoping they'd wait a little longer, my brother and I have a very cool idea for a Jurassic Park 4, so it's too bad if we don't get to make it. Anyway, the first one is a c...

"Perfect" handheld sequences should either involve minimal camera movement or are sporadic enough that their jarring effect doesn't wear off on the audience. Nolan's method suffers in both areas when it comes to action. He uses it just like most of the other current directors arou...

I just watched this show and it's the perfect way to give meaning to the phrase Short but sweet. I am still not sure of everything that went on, but I had a lot of fun during it. It's one of the best directed, best written, best scored, best everything pieces of visual art I've ever seen...

I saw Inception on IMAX and the handheld sequences which were hardly handheld at all were perfect. Let's not pretend as if he is Paul Greengrass (Though I think his handheld action scenes are perfect) or Marc Forster all of a sudden.

A great film. It is long, towards the end it sort of slowed down when it shouldn't have but its hard to complain about its length when it is an exciting film. Quite the bittersweet story, I loved it.

I finally got this baby and I'm very happy with it. A great movie with great video and sound. The Blu-Ray is obviously better but the DVD is very damn good for what it is and for what I can afford for now. Extras are cool, nice to have, although I'd like the kind of stuff we have in the CRC ...

What roles haven't been taken yet? I think I would like a part on this if I'm not too busy. I've added Kendrix and Stryker on Skype, by the way. This is my screename if anybody wants it: movieboyandco89

I've been bored this summer break so I decided to work on my script for Evangelion just for fun and out of boredom. I must say, it's been fun to write and it's the fastest I've written something in a while. I wrote about 30 pages in one day, but I've realized that being extremely...
